Not bad for UV protection
These are polycarbonate glasses which are pretty decent at blocking UV. I tested them with UV light and flouracent rocks and they do block most of 365nm. Some would still pass so never directly point to. Having said all of that, any polycarbonate glasses should work for this application. These are not bad I did order 2 variations of these from different sellers on amazon and honestly they both seem same except for 1 being double the price.

Happy with purchase!
I got these for my son to use at work, and he loves them. They're light and clear, which is a good thing, since he works on stilts, and any distortion would be dangerous. Great price and shipped fast.

Clear and safe
To save money, and get a sense of satisfaction, I do a _lot_ of home and auto repairs (aka Honeydews). But I never have enough safety glasses. My Dad, a mechanical engineer, drilled into me the habit of wearing them for any job that uses power tools or torches. Problem is, safety glasses get scratched incredibly easily, and then they're annoying to wear. I finally found the solution, thanks to Amazon: these glasses are really inexpensive, and they provide the protection I need. If, or rather, when, they get scratched, I'll just toss them out and buy a few more. This was my try-out pair; next order I'll get a bunch. I'm really pleased with this set; they are thick enough to be reassuring, and the lens is appropriately clear. I'm trying something rather obvious, but new, with these glasses; in between uses, I keep it in the bag it arrived in. I'm hoping that'll make a difference and reduce the likelihood they'll get scratched. I'm still waiting for safety-glass manufacturers to get smart about their customers' needs and provide cases that eliminate the possibility they'll get scratched. Great buy - and a cheap way to help preserve your vision -- definitely worth the price!

Great glasses!
3M is best in the business for safety protection for workers. They are one of the few brands I can buy nearly anything and feel comfortable about it keeping me safe. I hope this reputation never changes.

Fits
Does the job. Lightweight. Not the most sturdy material but acceptable as long as you don’t sit on it. Nice to have a few pairs in glove compartment and around the house case of need.
