Solar lighting for all seasons.

Outdoor solar lighting can be tricky since its dependent on many factors. The solar panel has to be strong enough to collect and harness the energy you need, the wiring has to be lenient enough to survive all weather conditions and the lights themselves have to be able to translate all of it to good results.. Fortunately, these are mostly a win in that regard and aside from lights that never get quite bright enough to stand out, they achieve all other goals. The wiring is tough and after some rerouting, (and minor untangling), held up well with no issues. The solar panel is easy to set up and with only half a day of direct sunlight was able to power the lights through the night, and in the most power consuming mode I should add.. With a few different modes to choose from they all worked well and the slow fading light mode was especially attractive. But the lights, for all of their modes and ease of use never get very bright, and a second full day of sunlight proved that even at full capacity, were not quite as bright as I would have hoped.. If you want decorative lights for a screened in deck, tool shed, car port or garage, these could easily accomodate with their length, strong solar panel and flexible installation, but the brightness afforded by them may leave a bit to be desired..

Good Product for Patios, Tents, etc.

I really wanted to give this product 5 stars and I'll start with why 4 instead first. When I first turned the lights on, one of the bulbs appeared to be broken in all modes. I lightly twisted the base of the bulb a little and it magically came on. I'm questioning the quality here. Secondly, there is a charging option to use USB "on cloudy days" but no cable or power adapter is included. Now, the good. Everything else I see. It's easy to setup and there are a couple mounting options available with the hardware to wall mount the solar panel. There is also a ground spike to install the solar panel at ground level. The operation is easy. There are 4 red LED's on the back once powered up. You cycle through these with the rubberized button to pick the desired mode. There is a steady / always on mode, a blinking mode, a strobe like mode (no thanks) and a soft glow mode. The nice thing is that if you have the USB cable and power adapter you don't have to worry about your battery draining while the party is on. Otherwise, I'm sure the battery is good enough for at least 4 hours of steady light - not sure about the blinking.

Lots of lights!

This is a nice string of lights. 50' of lights, 50 lights, longer and more lights than most solar strings. Four Light Modes, and the bulbs are bright. This should provide good illumination and mood setting. My only concern is the wires feel fairly light. They are flat, not round, more of a ribbon. This good for stringing them perhaps, but I worry that after hanging outside for some time they may weather too much. This is not a fact, just an observation. We will keep them up all season and report back as to how they are doing. This is the only way to test them. So far we are super happy with them and look forward enjoying them all summer.

These will be perfect for out by the pool

We've got a little chill area by our pool but never hang out there once it gets dark. I've wanted some of these lights for awhile, but I didn't want glass bulbs by the pool, and I wanted something solar because I didn't want something hard wired by the pool either. I got tired of looking for lights that would work for us after a while, and then just kind of forgot about it-- until these popped up. These checked all the boxes! Trying them out once they were delivered proved that they were indeed everything I wanted/needed them to be! They've got a decent amount of warm white light. I didn't want lights that were too bright or too dim, and these are just right. They're plastic so I won't have to worry about one breaking and leaving glass everywhere. The dusk to dawn feature is awesome because they'll turn on and look cheerful and fun without us even having to be outside to do it! And I don't have to worry about running extension cords out for them or the electric bill either -- major bonus points there. It's still winter where I live, so I haven't been able to string them up yet, but as soon as we get some warmer weather, I'll be finding them the perfect spot and I am so excited to have some relaxing evenings out by the pool.

Convenient Way to Add a Little Atmosphere to Outdoor Living Spaces

These are long enough to provide nice decorative lighting to a patio or deck area. It's easy to setup and works well. The lights aren't super bright but definitely good enough for ambient lighting. Living in Vegas I have no doubt we'll typically get enough sun but it's nice that there is a USB option for those rare cloudy days.

I LOVE These Lights!

I added these lights to my chicken run/coop and they provide the perfect amount of light for me to see what I’m doing clearly without disturbing the chickens and ducks in the coop. They give off the perfect ambient light, I love all the different settings, and I especially love that all I had to do was attach the solar panel and plug them in and I’m automatically getting such beautiful lights at night when it gets dark without having to do any work. Definitely recommend! Also, I like that the bulbs are plastic. They weren’t easily broken, they’re easy to clean, and look beautiful.

These are great lights for patio or porch!

These lights are beautiful in shape and size, perfect for any porch or patio. The solar panel allows you to use them in any location where you are unable to plug in a cord, which makes them super flexible! The solar panel is larger than your average solar item, but it's powering a whole long string of lights. Great value and a quality item. Recommended!
