The blue car died after the first use. I had to pay to send it back to receive a new workable car.

Fun purchase of Carrera Evolution Analog 1:32 Scale Slot Car Set

I bought the Carrera Evolution 20025240 Super Cars Analog 1:32 Scale Slot Car Set as an indulgence for the family Christmas gathering. It was a fun activity for all (as long as dogs and cats were not in the vicinity). It is well made, easy to assemble product. Some thoughts and suggestions: Watch a YouTube video on initial setup and possibilities. Mostly adult hobbyists. Small parts like rear view mirrors and spoilers are removable. Do this before running as the cars will crash and small parts can break. - Run on 3/4 power option at first. They’re quicker than you’d think and the track is limited. It’ll be fun for 2 or 3 days and then you’ll want to get a larger layout. I’m sure they give you “just enough” knowing this. Expansion kits and track can get inexpensive. - You’ll need space. Setting up, disassembly and reassembly is not practical. - Free track layout software and many example layouts are online. - Analog vs. Digital. Analog is cheaper but Digital offers more track options and user controlled lane changes etc. I didn’t go digital because of the initial base cost and I wasn’t sure if it would be fun for everyone. - Analog can be upgraded to digital BUT it is more cost effective to just buy another digital set and use your extra existing track. The analog cars can be upgraded and you’ll have at least 4 cars to run. Digital tracks can run 4 to 6 cars with ‘ghost’ and pace cars possible.

Fantastic quality engineered and lots of fun

Great detail on the cars and nicely engineered large scale 1/24 track that provides lots of options. Dual mode controllers are practical for children and adults.
