I would look for a better lamp and a better looking one

Usable lamp but not very steady or secure. I have to keep re tightening it since it becomes loose. Since I don't have it in a place for show it's OK. If I had it in a major room, I would look for a better lamp and a better looking one. At least it works and gives off the light I need for its intended purpose.

No stars from me. This is junk.

Where to begin... lamp pole is made of rubber hose typically used to insulate hot water pipes, hard to assemble because shoddy construction made joints hard to screw together, rubber hose joints are visible after assembly, lamp shade is made of cheap plastic that looks a lot like a disposable bowl one would buy in a dollar store, flexible neck is so weak it cannot support itself in a desirable position... I will be extremely careful with all future purchases from Amazon

Padded pole is a bit unusual, but works better than other reviews suggest. We mostly use it on a light switch so other reviews on a bad switch don't apply to us. Just be careful threading the pole sections together and it does the job at a great price.

A good, cheap floor lamp

It's a good cheap lamp that functions as it should. Easy to assemble by screwing a few rods together and to the stand. It's no frills, but does the job.

Good value in a lamp

This lamp was very reasonably priced and good quality. The assembly was easy. It was missing a part. I called the Adesso company directly and they promptly sent out the missing part. It looks like a much more expensive lamp.
