These were well made for what they are
So, pros of these shoes: low cost, great detail, the covering on the board soles was solidly put together and after walking around a convention for hours was not bent, ripped, coming apart, nor did my feet hurt, the laces are really nice quality and the leaves securely attached: tying a box knot in them was easy and let them lay untwisted. The pieces the laces go through were secure as well. Cons: the pieces the laces go through were difficult to place because of the length of them and they are not adjustable. Tying them was challenging and we learned that you need to make sure to space the cross points to reach the tying point just under the back of the knee. As you walk, your foot will slide on the board sole, especially on inclines. If your shoe isn’t secured just right, it will soon be coming off. I tried a couple different adjustments and ended up using double sided tape to keep the lace holding pieces in place on my foot and at each cross point to keep those secure. As well as the top wrap. That worked and I was able to walk around and not have to stop often to fix the shoes. I will be better prepared next time I wear them. Overall, I can wear them again because the quality held up. And they are great for a photo shoot or party where you won’t be walking as much. I would still recommend securing them to your legs or stockings though.

Goddess Sandals
These sandals look great and they are very inexpensive but I spend all night retying them because they keep falling down. I have tried to tie them two different ways and I am still spending all night tying these. As you wear them, the straps stretch out so they start to slide down. It is very uncomfortable. I will probably not wear them again. (I have worn them twice.) I do get a lot of compliments on them, however! They look great!

Look good...fall down a LOT
While these DO fit as expected, they do have the issue with the laces constantly falling down unless you tie them to the tightness required to cut off the circulation in your legs. THEN they do stay up. I will say that they look very nice when they ARE on, but they're just a pain in the butt to keep re-setting them on your legs.

I was going to use these for a costume I was making. But the sandals ended up being poor in quality and way too large

Good
It's hard to find "gold" shoes for a goddess costume without heels, though figuring out how to tie them so that the straps don't fall down while walking was a bit difficult. Here's a tip, tie a half-not at each point when the straps cross in the back.

They looked great on the model, but had to tape the strings behind her legs so they would stay up. Don't know that you would get much use out of these otherwise.

Sandals not for mortals
Looks good. But keeps slipping off the legs. No easy way of keeping it on the calves. An attempt to tighten threatened to tear off the straps.

Don't waste your money
Quality was very poor. They broke within minutes of having them on my feet. Managed to fix that with some tape since the party was that evening and within an hour the straps broke and were irreparable.
