My granddaughter is getting married and I bought this for her big day. The champagne color matches exactly with her color theme. The dress is understated, yet has some sparkle to it. It fits perfectly- I cannot wait to dance the night away in this beautiful dress. The price was reasonable as well.

The dress color and fabric was beautiful and what I expected. The size fit just right. The sleeves, however, did not come down off my shoulders enough to hide my baggy underarms when I lifted my arms. Otherwise, perfect dress.

Alex Evenings dresses are a good quality
Alex Evenings dresses are usually a nice fit for me and I bought a size 12 a year ago for my son's wedding. This particular dress (also a 12) is more fitted and not as complimentary and forgiving as my previous purchase. Also, a bit of a gap in the arm holes. The color was pretty much like the picture. This may work well for someone that has a slim figure. I'm 5'7" and weigh 150 lbs.

I have not worn the dress except for trying it on. It will be worn for my daughter’s wedding in a couple of months. The navy blue and style is beautiful. I ordered two sizes—a 14P and 12P. The bust determined my final selection. Both dresses fit but the 14P had a little more room. Returning the other dress was so easy and within 3 days the charge to my credit card was refunded. A totally pleasant experience.

This one was the winner
After disappointing attempts at Mother-of-the-bride dress shopping locally, I ordered a bunch from Amazon and this was the winner. Some sequins but not too flashy; 14P fit my 5’2” 180ish frame perfectly, and it didn’t add 20 years to my age like some of these dresses can. All the dress anxiety melted away.

Beautiful Dress for Mother of the Groom
I ordered many dresses from Amazon for my son's wedding. I found that the Alex Evening fit me well, I was ordering size 16 and 16P if floor length. Other companies didn't seem to have 16P in their dresses. I first ordered this in the rose/pink color in 16 but didn't like color on me. Then I couldn't only get the periwinkle int he 16P but that felt too short. I ended up with a 16 in Periwinkle from Dillards. The dress was very comfortable, I didn't have any issues with the raised fabric irritating my underarm and I received lots of compliments. I am 5'3" and 195lbs.

Beautifully made dress
I purchased this dress to wear for a 25th anniversary vow renewal. It fits beautifully. The color was so pretty in candle light and made me feel special. The only reason I ranked it 4 stars in comfort is that the sequins scratch under the arm. They actually gave me a rash. I'm not sure how to prevent that from happening so I may need to figure that out before wearing it again.

A hard pass for frumpiness ☹️
Very itchy and quite frumpy, plus cheap looking finishing inside the dress that cost almost $300 dollars. ???? what is going on…My first purchase from this designer and it disappoints. I am waiting for another dress to come in from same designer purchased the same time and NOT very hopeful. Sigh.
