This is part of Amazon's eco-conscious Aware line, certified carbon neutral. In this case, it's also made from recycled material. The outer fabric, a polyester weave, has a sheen. It's thicker than on my old puffer jacket, feels sturdy. The fill is fairly thick, over an inch, I'd say. The inner lining, also a poly weave, is thinner than the outer, as expected. The hood is big and there's no drawstring or other way to make it fit snugly, so if it's windy, it may blow off your head, or it may fall down lower in front of your face than you prefer. I'm tempted to cut it off. The hand pockets are lined with velveteen, and are under the fill, so they're warm. They measure roughly 6" wide and 9" top to bottom. They have zippers. There are pockets inside too. At the bottom on each side of the middle zipper there's a mesh pocket almost 8-1/2" deep and 9" wide. They're open at the top except for 2-1/2", so the openings are about 6". On the left side there's also a zippered pocket made of the lining material, 7-1/2" tall and 6" wide. The zipper opens 6-1/4" vertically about an inch in from the side towards the middle. My Large measures: Shoulders (outside): 20" Chest (outside): 50" Chest (inside): 48" Waist (outside): 53" Waist (inside): 50" Front length: 31" Sleeves: 27" (37" from center back), plus 2" if you pull the cuffs out - they can stay up inside the sleeve or out That's into XXL size for a normal jacket, but puffers need to be sized up some. I'm 5'10" and thin. I have a Medium in an Amazon Essentials puffer jacket I got a couple years ago, which has been fine for the most part, so I think I would be OK with a Medium in this one too. But the Medium did occasionally restrict my movement a little, and this one has more stuffing, so the extra room may be for the best. The sleeves measure very long, in part because of the puff. They slide down to my knuckles, which is a little long but not too bad. There's an elastic cuff inside that will keep them from sliding down further unless I want them to. Care instructions: machine was cold with like colors, only non-chlorine bleach if needed, tumble dry low heat, cool iron, no dry clean. Made in Vietnam.
