Quality product, good Amazon seller!
My opinion is this product runs right on size as stated however I recommend you order the next size up to add a little room for some shrinkage and for wearing layering clothing underneath the vest and still have a little wiggle room. I original ordered a size Large however I returned the vest and exchanged it for a size X-Large, now very much more pleased with the fit! Hope this helps with your decision to purchase this garment!

My husband loves this vest!
My husband really likes his new vest! It has nice size pockets for his cell phone and wallet. If it’s not real warm outside, it is very comfortable and keeps him warm. He also looks very good wearing it!

A poor man’s Patagonia (Notes for the little fellas like me)
I have a 34 inch chest and am 5’6” (on a good day). I purchased the extra small and it has a great fit around the chest and the arm holes are the correct size; the only flaw in the fit is unfortunately a big one, it’s way the heck too long! Like, literally 6 inches too long. The center back measurement is 28 1/2 inches and the center front measurement is 22 1/2 inches. The Patagonia product (Men's Synchilla Fleece Vest) that this vest is trying to emulate has a center back measurement of 24 1/4 inches and a Center front measurement of 21 inches for their extra small. This seems to be a constant and continual theme for most all clothing manufactured for smaller framed ladies and gentlemen, like yours truly; it’s too long. The inappropriate length makes it look sloppy and gets in the way when doing outdoor or active activities. If the manufacture would fix the length, this would be a great fitting vest. A few other notes: this is not a super high-quality vest, BUT the price is more or less appropriate for the quality you’ll receive, so you’re not getting massively ripped off or anything (if you want something really high-quality, go pay the high-price for the Patagonia vest this product is modeled after). It’s very comfortable and the material is very thin. This is a light weight vest, for either not super cold weather, or a layer for layering with other clothing in the colder stuff.

My go to vest for hiking
This vest does a very good job of keeping me warm on my hikes on days below 50 F. I like the color for visibility too.

Very comfortable, but strange sizing
I ordered these for layering during the colder temps outside....and for lounging around the home. I am 6' tall 198lbs with a 47" in-shape chest....I had originally ordered the XL since this was the size recommended by Amazon. Very soft, very comfortable, and gave just the right light to medium warmth. However, the XL fit very loosely with a good 6-7 plus inches of space from my torso to the vest. So, I thought, perhaps the size L will be a bit smaller and wouldn't make me look so big. I then ordered and tried the size L expecting ok, perhaps 2 or 3 inches of space from my torso to the vest, but no....it was right up against my torso with no space at all.....a bit too snug for me as I like it just a bit loose for comfort. Going to return the size Ls and order more XLs.

Handy fleece
This is a handy fleece to own . I’ve bought many branded fleeces over the years it’s a quality which is comparable.You can wear this as an under garment to bulk out a denim jacket or a shell storm coat . As I hate the cold I layer up to keep warm outside. And in the economic climate even indoors . I always try to explain to younger people once you are outside and get cold you have nothing to help you get warm. If you wear more and get hot you can always take something off or loosen something . Did I learn thus lesson when I was younger with just Levi’s and a Ben Sherman never felt cold at all But as one publican said to me “you know you might not feel it now son but it catches you later in life . Was he right. Yes . I was a sceptical about buying Amazons own brand previously but not now. Remember shop on quality ,shop on price and remember there’s always a bargain out there 50per cent off this one!!!! a

Amazing Quality and Price - I have ordered another
I had been looking for a lightweight gilet to replace a Galvin Green (premium manufacturer) garment I have worn to death. I had trouble finding gilets to replace it as they all seem to be now geared more towards outdoor wear and I wanted to be able to wear something warm yet comfortable inside and outdoors... I saw this on Amazon with Prime delivery and was amazed at the quality of the fabric, it is lightweight but the fleece is a good thickness, it even feels warm to the touch and an added bonus are the two zipped pockets. The collar is also really tidy and stylish - as is the garment - and really well-made... I have already ordered a second one and would highly recommend this product without hesitation.

Great Fleece Vest At A Great Price
I really like this Amazon Essentials Men's Full-Zip Polar Fleece Vest, so much so that I've already ordered a second one. Its perfect for wearing on cooler autumn/spring days over a long sleeve t-shirt or under a jacket/coat, or just around the house. It a nice weight...not too heavy and well made. Oddly the zip connects connects to do up the opposite way to what I'm used to (I always thought ladies' wear did up one way and men's the other) but I'm used to that now. It still gets 5 stars from me. I've paid twice as much for similar fleece vests that aren't any better.

Good quality, though sizing is a bit on larger side
The fleece is light and very comfortable to wear. I purchased a medium (my usual size) which turned out to be slightly too big for me, just means when it gets really cold I can fit another layer underneath the fleece. I got the item while it was on sale for under £7, so a bargain!
