Nice mailbox. We got two for our duplex and they look great. Weatherproof unless the top is left open by the mailman which has happened. No way to put in outgoing mail as the mailman won’t have access to retrieve.

Rain drips in when lifting lid

The mailbox is well built and looks really nice. I only have 1 complaint. If it is raining hard and you lift the lid to check if there is any mail the rain that beaded on the top drips down inside the mailbox and wets the mail. Even the action of the mail person putting mail inside creates the same situation. I was very disappointed as this mailbox was exactly what I was looking for and its very well made and looks good. I will continue to use it.

Not weather proof

I bought this mailbox to replace my old one because the access to the mail is at the front. Also the simple design is a plus. However when the door is closed there is a huge gap. When it rains or snows, all your mail is going to get wet because all the water is going to get in. Blows my mind how this didn’t cross their minds when making this. Huge design flaw.

Good enough, too high cost

Features a BIG mail slot, too big perhaps, really easy to manipulate the locking mechanism from the outside through the slot with a hook.

Even a Moderate Rain Soaks Your Mail

This mailbox is not weather proof, nor is it even weather resistant. Every time there has been anything more than a drizzle, our mail was soaking wet!

Does the job

Simple, lightweight, well-finished mailbox. Definitely not heavy-duty, but gets the job done. The only drawback is that the top slot is big enough for a determined thief to see inside and get their fingers in.

Good quality. Slightly wider than thought.

Bought this for my outside brick wall. Not very secure. Looks good and good quality but can reach in and get all the post.

Good quality but not secure

We installed this mailbox in a home that we recently renovated. Looks sharp. Quality is good. Price could be better. But there is a design flaw as far as the security goes. You can simply flip up the over and stick your fingers inside to pull out most of the envelopes. If you're looking for something that is secure, do NOT buy this mailbox. If security is a minor concern, then I would recommend. Also, ours came with a small scratch on the front, but we decided not to bother returning it.

Good for the price.

Sits on the wall just inside our porch so not totally exposed to the elements but has stood up well so far. Not sure how secure it would be if someone was desperate to break into it and steal your letters but it's safer than the old welly boot that was being used.
