I love Balega socks

A few years ago my wife introduced me to Balega socks and now they are the only socks I wear. Years ago, I could go to running stores to buy them. I usually wear the 'crew' socks but do have several pairs of shorties. But more recently the socks I like are harder to find in my size. It took almost a month for this pair to get to me. I only wish they were easier to buy in my size!

great running socks, but durability concerns

These are some of the best socks for running. I am an experienced distance runner and I find them especially good for speed workouts and races, but their high ventilation also makes them great for longer runs. However, the first pair of these I received was already worn down on the toe seam when I opened them. The durability is not nearly as good as on the Balega Enduro V-tech socks. These are lighter and better for speed but if you're looking for durability I would recommend the Enduro V-tech.

comfort and durability

I bought these to wear with my casual slacks, and found out they are so comfortable I wear them all the time. I have washed them at least 10 times and they still look brand new, and feel brand new. They stay up all day, and do not leave a ring around my calf because they were to tight. I am about to purchase another 3 pair.

Socks pill and frey after a few washes

I bought several of these Balega socks at the same time. After a few washes using the gentle cycle (warm water) and tumble dry low, they started to pill and frey. For $20 a pair l expected better.

THE best running socks available...

These socks add excellent extra cushioning to my already very cushy running shoes. I blister easily, and the fabric and the fit of these socks protect my skin unlike any other running sock I have ever used. Thanks

Comfortable!

Seamless ridge across the toe and deep heel pocket mean all-day comfort. Socks don't slide and stand up well to wear and laundering. Durability is well worth the extra few dollars.
