Great toddler toy!!
Got this toy for my Grandson. We have so many tracks for his wooden train set. I got this one since it didn't have a bridge or hump for the train to go over. Some of the trains can't pull themselves along with train cars over the humps. When I opened this one it had plastic tracks. I guess I didn't read the description, just looked at the picture. To my surprise, I LOVE THE PLASTIC TRACKS! They lay better and the trains are much smoother with plastic than wood. I highly recommend this toy train!! Great price too!!!

It is compatible to other wood tracks
These plastic railroad tracks are compatible with other wooden train tracks. However, unlike with the wood ones, these are not reversible tracks. So, the number of arrangements are limited. But not a tie breaker for a 3-yr old toddler.

Perfect first train set!
Bought this for my grandson who is 2 years old. He loves it! He can maneuver the train himself just fine and put the train together and take it apart himself as it has magnets. It is just big enough of a track for a child of 2 to 3 years old. He loved the little signals and stop signs that came with it and he plays with it every time he comes.

Perfect beginner set
This is a perfect first train set. - Light weight that when a toddler tosses it no one is hurt. - Simple to connect for said toddler to do mostly independently (20 months). Plus when he isn’t able to it offers a great opportunity to practice how to handle frustrations. - Cute little trains with enough tracks to make a figure 8 with a few extra pieces. - I love the little signs that come with it too which add to the pretend play and make it enjoyable for my 6 year old to play along with. Pictured next to a Powerade 20 Fl oz bottle for size reference.

Simple toy, great price, good play
I like that it's hard plastic, and used no batteries. I wanted something that my toddler can really play with using his hands and mind not something that does all the play for him,if u know what I mean. We can add on to this if we feel like in future, or get a different, more advanced one if he's into that kinda thing, but at 2.5 yrs of age this is great.

Muy buena calidad
Aunque es de plástico, viene de muy buena calidad, me sorprendió! Se puede armar de 3 formas diferentes y como es pequeñopero funcional, cabe muy bien en una bolsa para trasladar, a mi hijo le encantó!
