Very high quality 100% Blackout curtains with magnetic closures

One of the bedrooms in our house has southern facing windows which means it gets the full brunt of the California sunlight during summers which not only made sleeping difficult but also heated up the room significantly . However after using this these Beautycrest blackout curtains we have none of those issues anymore Both me any my wife are very impressed with these black out curtains as they block almost all of the direct sunlight that we get on our window . Some of the main things that we liked about this curtain were : - Looks beautiful with our current decor, with a thick weaved pattern - They do block 100% of the light, as advertised, the magnetic closures further increase its effectiveness as they block sunlight escaping between gaps - They are quite thick, which should help in summer cooling costs - They also provide very good sound insulation . If you are have a window near a freeway or a busy street. These curtains will help a lot - They already have curtain holes which means they are easy to mount and do not require any clips etc. However if your curtain rods have clips or hooks .. they can be mounted as well DISLIKES - The only downside of these panels is that they are expensive but when it comes to blackout curtains , it doesnt get any better than this Overall we are very impressed with these curtains and can certainly recommend them for rooms where you want to block direct sunlight or reduce outside noise

The photos don't do these justice

The pattern is more pronounced, and the color richer, in these curtains than what the photo suggests. Despite being on the thin side, the room-facing layer has nice texture, while the added light-blocking layer (also thin) is as nondescript and utilitarian as you'd expect. I just hope that these will hold up to repeated washings.

I forget these are magnetic

Beautiful curtains. Just barely cover edge to edge of my standard sliding class door. Would be better suited for window probably. I have noticed this keeps the heat out of my son's bedroom. Normally that HOT sun bakes his room for the first half of the day leaving it miserable for the rest of the evening till the nighttime temperatures drop and the room gets aired out. Now, I've noticed I can actually keep that space cool, all day. I had no idea curtains would make such a difference. The back side is the reflective white and these are pretty heavy. It's taken some time to get accustomed to the magnetic closures. They do work quite well actually which is pretty genius. My pack came with 2 panels. 84inches long. That's my number u chose for across the house so all the curtains are the same length. Even though these are a bit small for that space i absolutely love them. The difference they made makes these my favorites!

Beautiful and heavy, light will still come through cracks but not curtains

These are very thick, high quality curtains. I like the magnets. They are quite heavy, I'd recommend using with 1 inch rods. Light will still come out the top of these curtains due to the design. But the curtains themselves do have a total blackout effect. I also found that even though the magnets hold the curtains together, a thin crack of light does still appear between them. Skip these if you need 100% blackout, but if you just need nice thick heavy curtains that look pretty and block light, these work great. I use them in our bedroom where I needed all direct light blocked but wanted some ambient light to come through.

Great quality and love the pattern!

I was looking for some blackout curtains to try to help with our electric bills. I just love the style and quality of these curtains. They are nice and thick, definitely durable. The print is super cool. It’s hard to capture in the pictures, but I tried some close ups so you can really see. They are really well made, especially around the grommets for hanging. I’ve received compliments on these. Definitely recommend!
