De Beurer EM38 Lower Back Support Belt & TENS Device zorgt voor gerichte en comfortabele verlichting van spierpijn rond uw lumbale lordose. Het maakt gebruik van elektrostimulatie gericht op de onderrug. De ergonomische riem wordt in de taille vastgemaakt en bevat een verlengriem en batterijen. De flexibele riem past op een tailleomtrek van 30-55 inch (met de extensie). Dit apparaat is voorzien van een LCD-display (een verwijderbare bedieningseenheid) die aangeeft of het apparaat is ingeschakeld, de timer visualiseert en u in staat stelt de intensiteit en het programma te kiezen. Je verhoogt of verlaagt de intensiteit eenvoudig met de knoppen op het apparaat. De EM38 heeft 4 kanalen en 20 instelbare intensiteitsniveaus waaruit je kunt kiezen. El mejor

Mi esposa lo utiliza frecuentemente por el dolor de espalda y funciona muy bien. Lo utiliza con gel de electroestimulación y prefiere esto a los electrodos, es mucho más cómodo el cinturón.

Not what I expected

I've never had a TENS unit before so not sure what exactly I'm supposed to feel. I've played around with the different programs and different intensities. On program A, I felt nothing until I changed the intensity to about a level 15 and even then I felt little tapping but not much of anything. However, if I lean forward like when I'm sitting in a chair, I do feel the vibrations much better but the minute I sit up or stand up, nothing. Once this thing hits 19 minutes left on the timer, I need to turn the intensity down to about an 8 cause the next 10 minutes in this program is definitely felt!! It's a very strong pulsing so I'd say I'm feeling what I'm supposed to. Once the timer hits 10 minutes left, again nothing and I have to increase intensity to about 15 and even then unless I'm leaning forward I don't feel anything. It's like the electrodes don't make contact when I'm standing or sitting. I haven't tried laying on my back but that may be the best way to use this. Program B and D, same thing. I feel nothing unless I increase the intensity to about a 15 and same thing. I have to stand and bend over or sit and bend over to feel anything. Program C is the only program that works for me. It is the same bursts of pulses just like the bursts in program A in the second 10 minutes of the program. I was hoping this would be something I could wear under my clothes but that's not the case so I can only use it at home. With all said, even if I have to only use the C program it definitely helps with lower back pain.

Outstanding Pain Relief

I have broken vertebrae and also a compression injury. This belt provides immediate relief, better and cheaper than the tens pads I purchased prior to my daughter recommending this belt to me. The tens pads were always falling off my back and continually triggering electrical shocks. This belt will also generates a nice shock if not properly moistened but not near as much as with the pads. This is either the fifth or sixth Beurer belt that I have purchased. I wear them two to three hours every day. Quite often, I wear two at a time but have worn three on occasion. I wear the belt two or three hours. It's not uncomfortable to wear even when time expires (20 minutes). Program C is the bomb. That's a great workout. The other programs are for the timid -- but that's just a personal opinion. I have also found that reversing the belt has significantly improved my stomach muscles. Now, I see that Beurer now makes a belt for abs. I'll be taking a look at it shortly. I highly recommend this belt. It's extremely therapeutic. For me, it's a life saver.

Does not work

This is the latest in a series of TENS devices I've tried to buy from Amazon that simply doesn't work. Nothing happened when I turned it on. The batteries were fine, but it simply refused to work. I'm just going to return it because I don't trust the manufacturer - it should not be this hard to ship a device that works out of the box the way it claims it will in the instructions.

Kick it up a notch

Tried this last night and I gotta say it's powerful relief. I've had lower back problems for years. At first, I couldn't get it to do anything but realized I had to wet the tens pad as well as my back (in case you try it without moisture and can't get it to do anything). Once I got that figured out and fired it up I found the tens sensation relaxing and everybody bit as powerful (you can adjust) as the chiropractor's office. The only thing you need to be aware of is the first set of stimulation lasts for about 10 minutes and then WAM; THE SECOND SET OF STIMULATION KICKS IN! That second set seems to be a much higher stimulation setting than the first one you set and, man, you know it when it kicks in. It startled and surprised me so much I let out an involuntary, loud, and surprised audible scream. Didn't hurt; it just took me by surprise. So, be prepared for that. I will say it performs as advertised.

Works may not be for all body types

Have been using TENS units for years, Often used separate back brace and traditional tens unit. The problem at night is the wires leading from pads to unit. I have used this one night and it was more convenient than previous mentioned setup. I turned it on maybe three times during the night. I got the feel of the controls and operated them without looking. I was concerned about the design of the “padded” electrode area for back also adding the water layer was different. However, I got used to it. It also seems to add your body heat to lower back. I am 5 ft 9 in 185 lbs. not sure how it would work for heavier body types. Not sure how different types of skins can be affected by electrodes but works for me. Also, I did find out that you need to be careful when turning it on at night that you push the top of the belt away not just the top of the control since it would separate the control unit slightly from the connections causing the power to reset to zero. I will continue to use my traditional tens unit during day as needed. This is my night time/occasional tens unit. For less than $20 I think it is worth it.

Great Product

Tens therapy has been a part of my life for years for the alleviation of pain and as an alternative to medication. Although traditional tens pads are difficult to place in some areas of the body, this tens Back Belt assures proper placement every time, along with ease of use.

Bon produit! Satisfaite dans l'ensemble! Seul bémol, il n'y a que des programmes (4) de 25 ou 30 min. On ne peut pas gérer soit même! Par contre, il est possible de gérer l'intensité!
