It would be great with a different handle or no handle

This cup performs well and for the price, it is a nice cup. The ergonomics of the handle are not well thought out. It is a somewhat narrow tubular thing. To have that profile makes it difficult to use when the cup is full as the width is insufficient to balance it on your forefinger without it wanting to roll a bit. If tubular was necessary, they need a wider tube or to just flatten it.

I bought these for the double stainless steel. And the cap. Unfortunately, the mugs do not keep hot liquid for about 30 minutes and then it cools rapidly. For cold, even when I pre-cool in freezer, it may stay cold for, again, 30 min with ICE But the absolute worse thing is the cap. After 3 times of usage the mug fell and the cap(s) broke. Still usable but without the slider. I've had other mugs that I still have after 3 years! My recommendation do not buy. ADDENDUM: I believe the problem was with my coffee maker. The mug actually keeps the liquid very good. I wish the cap didn't fall so I would be able to close it. I'd buy again!

Could be a 5 star !

! big problem. The lid doesn't have an air hole for easy flow of the liquid. The slide that prevents heat and cold or the liquid from escaping is great. I like the design so much going to use for RV I decided to fix the problem myself, got my Hubby's drill and small bit found there was just enough room at top where the stopped slides to put my hole where it will still be wide open at the liquid escape hole and drilled there. Now just have to pay attention to make sure when I slide it up to drink, I don't cover the hole. Maybe should have drilled hole through the area not involving the slide? But it works better. Love the color, feel no slipping, I don't even feel the heat the handle is fantastic I can easily fit 4 fingers my hubby can fit 3 of his that's 2 more than he can fit into most mugs. I say buy them as long as you have access to a drill and small bit. (And know how to use it) HA! This from a gal only tells the truth. unfortunately. The wife

Drinking glass

This glass is good. I like it a lot. The only downfall is it's hard to clean where you pull the opening to drink so if it gets mouldy it's very hard to clean it.

Good, if you want an insulated mug without lid

The mug is sturdy and reasonably lightweight. The lid fits very tight. I don't need them. But, they would be difficult to take off, especially with liquid still in them. I use them at my desk, one for ice and whatever, one for hot tea or coffee. For cold the ice lasts a long time while I suck on the ice cubes until they are gone with little water forming. They keep hot drinks warm for a long time, even without the lids. This way, as the drink cools down, I have a good 15 minutes in that sweet spot where the drink is at that temperature where you have to sip, but not burn your mouth. Overall, good for desk use w/o lid to keep drinks cold and hot for an extended period, even without the lid. There is a seem between the plastic and metal that seems very tight. Still, I don't plan to leave one in a sink full of soapy water because I want zero chance of water getting into the insulation. Cleans well and easily simply by putting in dry sink with water in it a dollop of dish soap, Appears to be too wide for a car cup holder. Comes in many colors. I am a weirdo who likes yellow, and the outside plastic and inside steel have remained unstained. (edit) I increased from 4 to 5 stars. I still haven't used the lids. However, I have really enjoyed using them. Note: Filled with liquid, they can be a bit heavy. And the grip can be a problem and cut into your fingers if you don't pick it up right. But, they are near perfect for me. The stainless steel inside has been very easy to clean. I don't soak them. I just fill with soapy water and put on the back of the sink. So, the seal has remained perfect. The main aspect, insulation, has been excellent, even though I never use a lid. Ice remains in the cup for hours and I have had no problem drinking coffee for up to 24 hours (room temp coffee is fine with me.) So, no coffee goes to waste. Overall, peferfect for what I was looking for.

Junk

Painted started to peel after a couple weeks of use. Lid never fit properly, automatically would pop back up when it was placed on.

Needs improvement

I like that it keeps beverages warm, however the lid does not come apart making it impossible to clean thoroughly causing gunk to build up under the slider mouthpiece and is a risk for bacteria. My lid broke after using it for 2 weeks. Not impressed. Do not recommend

Does not stay hot for very long

I use for coffee, the lid does not go on tight and coffee does not stay hot for very long
