Igniter Ice W is een geweldige allround schaats voor de recreatieve schaatser. In tegenstelling tot hockey- of kunstschaatsen die meestal een inloopperiode nodig hebben om zachter te worden en uiteindelijk beter te passen na veelvuldig gebruik, stelt de Igniter de schaatser in staat om direct comfort uit de doos te hebben en meteen het ijs op te gaan. Het biedt voldoende zijdelingse ondersteuning, voorwaartse flex en prestaties voor alle vaardigheidsniveaus. Igniter spreekt diegenen aan die bekend zijn met de pasvorm van een inline skate of skischoen die geen hockey- of kunstschaatsen willen. Excellent Quality

These are just like rollerblades except with a blade ???? They are a little heavy but I don’t feel that while I skate. Compared to the men’s Bauer ones I got my son though, I notice the weight difference. His are very light. The only thing I don’t like about the design for these is that the laces show all big and goofy looking in the front when you tie them, so I have to tuck them in to the sides so they don’t show. Note that they need to be sharpened before first use. There are stickers on the blades to remind you. I bought one pair for my daughter as well and she likes them also. I would recommend these for recreational skating.

My girls love these

These were a Christmas present for my 3 daughters who love to ice skate. Unfortunately, the rental skates left marks on their legs and were uncomfortable after a short time. They are intermediate skaters and are quicker than many of the other skaters on the rink, and I wasn't sure what would work best for them. The figure skates tend to be more comfortable, but less supportive. The hockey skates tend to be more rigid and less comfortable, although they do provide more ankle support. I bought these "recreational skates" because they seemed to be a good mix of all the good qualities of both. I got these sharpened in time for the first skating of the season. I was a little concerned because they skated for about 5 hours and wondered how they would be feeling when they got home! To my delight, they were happy to report that the skates were great... very comfortable! Mom was relieved that they didn't have to share skates with anyone else's sweaty feet, and it does save a small amount each time on skate rentals, so eventually they'll pay for themselves. I would definitely recommend them!

I love these skates!!

I had a really hard time finding skates that didn't hurt my feet. I initially had to go with hockey skates for the width. These are AMAZING!! I am able to skate for hours without foot pain!! Highly recommended to anyone with wide or flat feet!!

Love Love! Made the difference between fun skate and painful skate

I'm a rollerblader without a good place to rollerblade, so I thought to try ice skating, BUT...those rental boots reaaaally hurt my feet. When I tried these skates on, they did feel a lot like my rollerblades, but I wasn't sure how comfy they'd be on the ice... I took a gamble, got the skates sharpened for $6, and took them to the local rink. It was amazing. I had such a blast reliving my teenage years. :-D The boots are sturdy and made such a huge difference in my comfort level. So happy with purchase! I had also purchased the Ice Igniter XT version which is usually a bit more $$. The XT wasn't as adjustable (I have slender legs and the XT felt/looked bulky - I could not pull the top of the foot velcro tight enough). The XT has thick soft padding around the top of the boot (which is nice), but the tongue is also a bit shorter (which I didn't like). Overall I thought it wasn't as comfortable. I think the XT might be better if you're skating in the extreme cold? Both skates were great quality, but I definitely preferred the non-XT version.

I like everything about those skates. Oh the pink color it’s supper cute, they are light weight. I usually wear size 8 but went with size 9 so I can wear thicker socks in winter . So happy with my purchase. ????????????????

Stability matters

Love the look but especially like the support for my ankles. I re-learned how to skate with lessons using these and they were great.

Super cute and true to size.

I am a nine and a half, they don't come in half sizes so I went down a size but they were a little too tight so I exchanged them for a size 10 and they fit well with a thick pair of socks. I love them.

I wear a 9 1/2 but they don't come in half sizes so I ordered a 10 they fit great with thicker socks. I would say they are true to size. Super cute too.
