De Xavier van Bloch heeft een mooi Oxford-silhouet en is een traditionele ballroom- en salsadansschoen. Het gladde leren bovenwerk is bovenop een lage, brede hak en korte schacht geplaatst voor maximale ondersteuning van de voetboog, terwijl de flexibiliteit behouden blijft voor gemak in demi-pointe. De binnenzool is volledig gedempt om schokken voor de middenvoetsbeentjes te beschermen en te absorberen, terwijl de suède buitenzool grip en gemak biedt bij draaien en glijden. Opgericht in Sydney, in 1932 door Jacob Bloch, is Bloch een pionier in de technische dansmarkt. Ballroom dance shoes

I normally wear a size 10 medium in a street shoe. I normally wear thick Dickie boot socks. I purchased a size 9. These are too tight with the socks I normally wear. They fit on the snug side with thinner dress socks. As my feet sweat alot anyway this seems to be ideal for me as my feet are cooler with the thinner sock. They loosened up nicely after wearing them at one dance class and seem to fit as expected now.

comfortable and soft

very soft leather. I am a ladies size 9 medium. I originally ordered a 8.0 and a 7.5 in this shoe because I followed the Block size chart and I've already had experience with men's street size 8.0 being equivalent to a 9.5 womens and the mens street size 7.5 being equivalent to womens 9. not so with this shoe. for me the 6.5 is the mens size I had to order which I believe is equivalent to ladies size 9. very nice ballroom dance shoe...stable under the arch with some flex in the ball of the foot as you would expect. feels comfortable straight out of the box.

Nice comfortable shoe but a little on the large size.

These are great shoes, very comfortable. But I did read the reviews before I ordered these shoes and decided to order them a half size smaller than my regular shoes and it was a good decision. Could probably even have ordered a full size smaller that regular shoe size. The width is good, its the length that is a bit large. Also for the price they should include a shoe bag.....kind of a cheap move having to buy a shoe bag when many other shoes come with the shoe bag included.

Bought these for Cha Cha and swing dancing, very happy with them. Bought a half size smaller than I normally wear.

Good beginner shoe

Firstly hats off for getting this to us is 20 hours! The shoe fits well but it is quite wide. My dance instructor recommended putting a gel sole in it for comfort. The leather on the shoes is very soft making it super comfortable to wear. The soles are perfect grip once you brush them with a special brush (they were slippery when they arrived) so I would recommend you do that before your first dance especially if it is a quick dance. Good shoe if you do not want to spend hundreds of dollars on Aida's.

Well made but too large.

The product description indicated that you should order one size larger than normal. That is not the case. Why would a shoe manufacturer not use standardized sizing?! Am returning these. Would have exchanged for smaller size but price has gone up by 30% (they were on special). Not going to pay over $100.

Awesome first pair!

Just so we're clear, you should buy one size UNDER your regular street shoe size (whatever size your sneakers are). I wear size 9 sneakers and bought these in size 8; they fit me like a glove and are wonderful to dance in. This is my first pair of ballroom shoes ever and I've only had them a few days so I haven't used them long enough to tell about the quality of the suede soles, but the stitching and overall quality is really good and well worth the $100+ price tag (and they look amazing). I used them at my first ever competition and felt like a million bucks! Would recommend.

Great basic dance shoe.

Purchased for my dance partner who wears a dress shoe size 11, so I ordered a size 10 and it’s perfect. A good basic all leather shoe that is light and comfortable for ballroom dance. He likes them.

These are high quality dance shoes, nicely lined and with real leather uppers (not synthetic like cheaper versions). Fit is very similar to Capezio (about 1 size down from your sneaker size). No shoe bag included... for the price that would have been appreciated.
