First impression is good

This is the first pair of Bogs I've had. Boots seem well made. Fit is good. My foot is between a normal and wide. These have room for my foot and taking out the extra insert does add inner width. There is cushion in the heal and it helps for walking on all terrains. So far the boot is comfortable out of the box, except for around the tongue/top lace hook. This should fix itself as they break in, as I have had this issue with other brands. I work in all weather conditions, concrete, dirt/mud, inside and outside so I will see how these hold up. I will be adding a high arch insole due to these having a lower or standard arch insole.

These boots will hurt you.

Never wrote a review, but these boots will mess up your feet. I’m a stone worker, and use my boots to demo concrete, move it offsite, haul stone etc. I bought these boots for 165 from Amazon. They hurt at first, and I thought I needed to break them in. Would wear them 2:days a week, then 3 then back down to 2. Finally after 6 months I gave up Here’s the issues. Insole is made from hard plastic ( took 2.5 months to figure this one out) doesn’t allow the heel and mid arch to flex, also elevated the foot and causes the sides of the foot to rub. Inside diameter of composite toe cap fits too close to the sole, so the toe tops rub on the bottom of composite cap. The cap narrows and doesn’t allow room for the toes to fit comfortably. Side seam splits and composite cap shifts forward into body them shoe. Rubber surround separates from side of shoe.. all of these things happened in less than 6 months, i took the insole out to give my feet more room and discovered there is no metal sole support in the boot. so my feet stayed flat until I got new insoles. The sides of my feet became bruised and they hurt every single time I wore these boots..I took the boots to get them fixed and after he stitched the sides and glued the rubber piece on , he had me feel where the cap met the shoe inside and it was buckled inside. He said he thought it was just a badly manufactured shoe. Ok.. well I got some use out of them but I won’t take a chance with this brand again. They’re still in great condition but I can’t wear them .They will continue to hurt me and send me home cranky and in pain

Don' waste your money! 1 1/2 years and the sticking gave out!

Most money I ever spent on work boots! Was disappointed when stitching let go! no longer waterproof
