i work construction jn florida the hat is very wife brimmed, holds well to my head, but after 6 months it was retired.

I’ve purchased many straw hats over the course of the last few weeks. I’m a teacher and needed a good wide brim hat for playground duty/outdoor supervision since I live in CA and we have sunshine 365 days a year and sometimes it’s brutal and relentless. This hat arrived in a large box, wrapped in plastic w/ a plastic support to keep the shape of the hat on the inside… it’s lightweight, comfy and fits my head (which tends to be on the larger side w/ hats) and I have thick hair so it fits comfortably… we’ll see how long it lasts but as some other reviewers have stated, it’s a straw hat, so expect it to last as long as a straw hat may last!

I like the hat very much. It provides good sun protection while doing my lawn service jobs. The problem is the shipping. Ordered the first one and it came in a box and was perfect. Ordered a second one the next day and it came in a bag and was smashed to s***.

Great Beach Hat

I like the summer look that this hat provides. It’s a little bit bigger than I would have expected, but it provides great coverage. The straw is a little scratchy, but that’s the nature of the product. Really well shipped.

Nice hat with a few issues

I Worked making hats similar to these years ago in order to get production faster we would run multiple die’s with the heat up pretty high.. this is tricky not leave hats in the die for to long or have the heat to high because it will dry the crowns to much and make them CRISPY as we used to call it .. mine is one of these hats this in no means, means all of them are like this as this hat could have snuck through all the other processes and made to me .. it fits great and could be a quality product but do to the crispy crown it gets a three star review

This is my second Brooklyn Surf hat. Comfortable & breathable in the heat. Does tend to crack along seams where the straw bends, but not of major concern

Gardening hat

I use this when I spend time in my veg garden. Its super light weight, protects from the suns and if windy, the little cord is great to tight it up and it stays put. It's a one size I have a small head and while I can wear it as is, I prefer to add a bandana under it makes it fits better as I have a small head. But bigger heads won't need to add or wear anything under and it will be comfy I'm sure

Reasonable Price, Good Quality

Good condition, I bought 2 and they arrived separately and well packed in a box. I was worried that they might be damaged upon arrival but they weren’t. Hat fits well, and they are of good quality, I am happy with my purchase.
