Wow! These run large.
It's hard to guesstimate your size, but in asian-made shoes, like Nike's, I have to jump up to a size 11.5 or 12, so I guessed at a size 12 in these. Caddis tells us that they size their boots 1/2 size larger to accomodate the waders, but seriously, these have to be the equivalent of a size 14 to be this big. I don't own enough socks to get them to fit... In western-made street shoes, I'm normally a size 10, but with a couple of brands, I need to buy size 10.5, so I'm replacing the size 12's with size 11's and we'll see how that goes. I might need to go down to a size 10. Other than swimming in them, they seem to be quite well made, should be quite comnfortable, and seem to be worth the asking price. I will update this if and when I find the right size. UPDATE 02/20/2013: No way these will fit me. I've gone through size 12 - fit like the Apollo moon boots - down to size 10, which were too short and too wide (!). Had hopes for size 11, but, while smaller than the 12's were still way too large, length and width, even wearing extra socks and the waders. I'd guess I'd need a size 10.5, if they made them in that size. I've sent all of them back. I think I'll need to wait until I can get to a brick-and-mortar store where I can try on wading boots until I find a brand/size that fit properly. I dropped this down to three stars: it doesn't matter how well crafted a product may be, if you can't find a size that you can wear all day, they are of very little value. If they fit you, you're lucky. For the price, I'd bet they are an exceptional value. If you can get them to fit...

Sole separating from boot
Bought these several years ago. For the first few years, I used them for maybe two 3-day trips a year fishing for no more than 2 or so hours a day. Starting last year, I began to fish more often and the the sole started to separate from the boot. I found some effective glue to repair them, but with each use, I'd find another spot separating and need to repair it. I take good care of the boots, rinsing them thoroughly after each use and drying them at room temperature while stuffing them with newspaper to absorb moisture without heat. These are not premium priced boots, but they are not bargain -basement either, so I would expect better.

Great Value
My review is based on a pair of these boots that I bought several years ago and have worked them hard and for many miles. Replaced the laces 3 times and the boots are still going. Bought the new ones toas a backup. Great Value

Most comfortable wading boots I have ever purchased
Most comfortable wading boots I have ever purchased. Rubber soles are way to slick for my fishing. If they were felt I would never by anything else.

Three Stars
More narrow that expected, the laces are cheezy (had to replace) and short. Length was true to size.

Caddis Men's Northern Guide Wading Shoes
Love these wading shoes! They are lightweight and allow sufficient room for either neoprene waders or thin lightweight stocking foot waders. The soles are rubber, not felt, and therefore allow for better traction while walking on slippery surfaces. NOTE: Some States are banning use of felt soled wading shoes due to organisms being unintentionally transferred from lake to lake while wearing felt soled shoes. Rubber soles are effectively eliminating this problem. Recommend you check you State regs prior to purchasing a pare of wading shoes. I find these shoes to be very comfortable and I wear a size 12 4-E shoe.

Size Matters
These appear to built really well. I have only used them a couple of times. These have rubber soles that grip OK, but I would suggest buying the screw in grips. They help a great deal. I wear an 11 1/2 in regular shoes, and purchased a 12 in these, because I was afraid with my waders I would not have enough room. The 12 seems a little large. I probably should have bought the 11. Quality looks great. I can't wait to see how they hold up in the long run. UPDATE: Wow these kind of suck. The Soles are coming unglued from the upper half. It has been a very warm Montana Summer and I left my wet shoes out to dry, and the soles started to separate from the upper part of the shoe. Not just in one place, but all over. I Have bought two pairs of waders from this company and would highly recommend there waders. There shoes are like those cheap traxx shoes my Mom used to buy from Kmart when I was a kid. Not even a full season of wear. Don't waste your money.
