Fit Good but Quality Not So Much

Was expecting a better quality for the brand. Cheaply made and not as comfortable as other Capezio ballets we’ve used in the past!

Do not buy online

I bought these for my daughter, the size appropriate according to the size chart. They came and before her ballet class I opened them and adjusted them to her feet. There were no instructions, and I didn't think I needed any...:) I tied the shoe to what I thought was right and cut off the extra string as I had done previously with other ballet shoes. When my daughter got home the shoes hurt the back of her foot, above her heel, and they needed to be loosened. She had to take them off for her class because they were causing her so much distraction. When I went to loosen the shoes, the string went back into the seam and couldn't be fixed. The shoes obviously couldn't be returned at this point. I worked with customer service to see why the shoes were still hurting her feet even after I adjusted the "good" shoe and they determined they were too big for her feet, but could not take them back. I will not buy this brand again. I went with Bloch online and the shoes came and fit nicely without hurting. This is just my online experience, but considering I would have continued to buy shoes and ballet gear for both of my daughters throughout the coming years I would have appreciated a little more forgiving customer service.

Too small

Some reviewers noted it is true to size but it is not. My daughter is almost a size 2. I ordered her the size 2.5 and they were too small. I went to the Capezio site for these shoes and it said to begin 1.5 - 2 sizes up from their street shoe size! I also ordered the women's size 4 and hoping those will fit. Also the elastic was already sewn...

Ballet shoe

I am very happy with these ballet shoes, I got them for my 4 yr old who is just beggining. The traps needs to be sized to the childs foot and stitched in place but this is a good thing- it actually made the shoes snug and hug her feet. There is a lot of room to grow but with bow tie sinched and the strapes fitted to her feet they fit perfect. I can tell already that she can probubly wear these for a bit- if I take the stich out and unsinch the bow tie these may actually last another shoe size. I bought a sice 11.5 little kid and my daughter wears a 11 sneaker and these will prob. last through her being a size 12sneaker.

The best ballet slipper!

I was worried I would have to sew the ballet straps on and then mess something up, but the ballet slippers came pre-sewn and perfect! I love best that if the shoe gets dirty you can wash it. I air dry just to be safe.

Fit well, comfortable, good quality for price

The shoes fit as expected although the elastic needed a little adjustment. My daughter is happy to wear these and feels very comfortable in them; the canvas confirms to her foot shape and the cushioned split soles are very nice. We will likely purchase these again when she sizes up. The price is very good compared to what you pay in stores stores or dance stores.

Comfortable

Switched from leather to canvas and my daughter loves this ones. Don't make her feet sweat and they have are a little roomier around width. I ordered a slightly bigger size to give her room to grow and she hasn't complained of tripping on them.

Nice ballet shoes

These fit my daughter perfectly. We sized up one size to give her a little room to grow into them. The width is perfect as is the elastic (already sewn in.....no stitching required). Her last pair of the same style ballet shoes were made by Bloch and the elastic was tight and always difficult to get on. These are a nice fit.

Mine didn't have the straps like the picture, but overall OK

The item i ordered isn't what's on the picture. It looks like there's a bow on the shoe so you can tie it around the ankle - however the product I received didn't have it. Just the elastic like straps on top. Shoes were a small fit, however they stretch. I would still recommend this product.
