Very well built, sturdy and great out the box.

This knee walker is great! Easy to put together and to use. 1000% better than crutches! App wouldn't upload a picture, but it's very well built and sturdy. Well worth the money. Would buy again.

Great knee walker at a great price

I bought this for a friend who'd broken a toe but already had a boot and crutches. We wondered how stable it might be and also thought the wheels looked a bit small in the photo, but since it was the most inexpensive one available at the time we decided to give it a try. The verdict? She loves it. She's used it in the house, to go on walks (rolls?) outside, and in and around various stores, and it's worked well in all situations. It's good enough that she's actually suggested going out several times instead of dreading trips outside as she did with the crutches. As for our initial concerns, it's actually VERY sturdy, and the 7.5" wheels are larger than they looked in the photo and handle chipped or uneven sidewalks very well (though you do of course have to pay attention for bigger discontinuities). It also works well on the various carpets she's encountered, though it works best and is also the most fun to use on a smooth floor. We did put a folded towel on the cushion to make it a bit softer on her knee, but that's the closest thing to a downside we've found so far. Overall our worries that this might be the "cheaper but not as good" alternative to other knee walkers were unfounded; it's rock solid, handles well, and is infinitely better than crutches. Definitely recommended.

Easy to use

Great tool for getting around instead of crutches. Easy to manage and move around in. Did need a cushion for the leg rest which was more comfortable on the leg. The brake lock help when using it also.

Does not roll well on carpet

I purchased this as an aid as I need foot surgery. Out of the box it has a very strong chemical smell. I put it outside in a covered area on a slightly breezy day to off gas. The smell still lingers. Testing it inside it works well on my vinyl flooring however using on carpet is nearly impossible. Twice it started to tip over and because the tires do not roll on the carpet well, it causes undo stress to the “good” leg. I will be wearing a boot after surgery. I put on the boot and the pad doesn’t accommodate the boot. The boot top then digs into the leg. I am returning as the steering is off and the basket is dented, though these could probably be fixed. The worst part is that I still need to find another scooter before my surgery.
