Plumber

On my 3rd pair since May 2021.. they don't last as long as other boots but they are comfortable and don't really require a break in. They work for me.. they eventually tear at the heel but it is what it is. Good middle of the road boot. Get 2 pairs and rotate if using 40+ hours a week

They are pretty uncomfortable.

It's only been a few months, but these are pretty uncomfortable, have never had to use inserts before but for these I did. Besides that they seem decent, hopefully they last long. If you work standing all day might consider getting inserts.

Decent boot for the money.

The fit is as expected. The boot took longer than expected with a Carhartt product to break in.

2nd Pair. Sturdy but on the heavy side.

Had my 1st pair for years. These boots are sturdy and well constructed. They are, however, on the heavy side at 3.5lbs. It's going to be a work out if you're like me and find yourself routinely taking the stairs or climbing up and down ladders. Honestly though, the construction of the boot is solid and worth the added weight. Once you break them in and get used to having them on your feet, you'll forget you're wearing them. My first pair was put through hell and held up. The leather broke down from bending and flexing around the toe of the boot. The seams and stitches were holding up surprisingly. These boots are an excellent choice for the price and are worth it.

Fine boot, some QC issues

Solid boots, feel comfortable with a very short break-in period. Seem to be holding up OK under light-to-medium duty (I'm not out in the mud). The stitching holding the toecap on started coming loose but the manufacturer had a new pair out to me for free within a week or so. They are not actually made by Carhartt, they license the brand name to Black Diamond Boots (bdboots.com). Based on my experience and some others there seems to be some QC issues but they are quick to ship new ones.

Durable, comfortable, and great quality

Fits great! Very comfy for working 12 hr days. Love the protection from nearly everything. Great lookin boot with GREAT protection! I've been using these every weekday for a year and still going great!

Good boot for the price, better-than-expected.

The boots fit a little tighter than my previous 11 and 1/2 wide boots. The material on the tongue of the boot started ripping. Other than that the boot fits and feels comfortable it's nice.
