Adorable, Seasonally Festive!
The pants fit true to size. In most sizes, my granddaughter wears a size 4, and that is what I purchased; they fit great! In comparison with other labels, in general, I've found Carters to fit a bit small ... but not this time! The 'leggins' style pants are a bit heavier / thicker than most 'leggins', which is nice for the winter. The reverse side of the fabric (the inside of the pants) has a looped-type nap, which makes these pants fleece-like. I paired these 'leggins' with a white top--with a pearlescent black & white sequined panda, in a white fur & red sequined Santa hat, and a pair of black, glittery-suede, ankle boots ... adorable!! For the rest of the winter, these 'leggins' will be paired with a coordinating, solid color top. I love these pants, and so does my granddaughter and her parents.

They look great and seem well made
Got the red plaid in 6 for my 5,5 year old (ca. 42", 40 lbs). They look great and seem well made. They are fuzzy inside! Very warm and soft, much thicker than I expected, which is great because my daughter is wearing these in winter. Very stylish and fit her well. They hit her right below the ankle with not much bunching, compared to other brands it feels a wee bit short with less room to grow. But at this fantastic price for such good quality it's not a problem. She can tuck the leggings inside booties if they look a bit short later on! For now they are perfect.
