Where are the pillow cases?
This said "Condition - new" on the invoice. There was no hint I was buying something used until it arrived in an Amazon box with another shipping label cut off the box, and that box within another box. When I opened it up: no pillowcases. Otherwise: nothing really showing that the item is used or returned. • Sheets themselves seem nice. • Lightweight percale cotton, • bright white color, • smooth texture, • no visible defects. Seems are nicely sewn. Embroidery across the top sheet is machine-straight and tight. Once I wash & ironed the sheets, I can report back. I purchased EXTRA PILLOWCASES on the side because "two king pillowcases" that are *supposed* to be part of this "set" would not have been enough. Those are light and bright and smooth. Quite wrinkled upon removing from dryer. This is the nature of the fabric. it is "crisp" and I don't mind having them ironed, even if they're not the most high-quality linens, they're nice enough to iron and will come out looking decent (if thin & slightly see-through).

sheets, what to say about sheets.
not sure whether they will soften up, but i hope so. first time on the bet and found them to be stiff and almost clattery. comfortable sleeping on them, they seem to be very high quality. like them enough but hope they get a little softer with use.

Not the Egyptian Cotton We're Accustomed To
We prefer Egyptian cotton for its softness and longevity. However, these sheets have a stiff, almost synthetic feel to them, very unlike any other similar sheets we've owned. If you like the feel of heavily-starched sheets, these may serve you well. For us, they're okay but not what we expected.

Decent Value, Good Quality
Disclaimer: I ended up returning these sheets because my wife did not like the 'Champagne' accent color Despite eventually returning this item, the sheets appeared to be of high quality. I did not use / wash them, but overall I was happy with the fabric quality.

Percale sheets are the bomb!
This is my 2nd purchase of this brand of sheets. They are long wearing, cool comfort in the summer. My last pair was purchased 7 years ago and still going strong. Yes, they wrinkle but once on the bed that doesn’t bother me. You get your money’s worth because Percale is a tightly woven fabric.

Sheets Disintegrate Along Fold Lines
I loved the first set of these sheets, according to the label, made in Pakistan. Now that they have changed suppliers the fabric quality has greatly deteriorated. The label on my second purchase says, made in China. Where the fabric is folded (top of pillowcase edge) the fabric is literally splitting. Do not buy theses sheets. They won’t last.

Cool and Crisp
Though these sheets are not quite as thick as I remember my mother and grandmother having, they are fabulous. If you like sleeping more cool and snuggling-up to your best childhood dreams then these sheets are for you. The sizing is very good; mine have about a 12"-15" inch drop on each side of my queen bed (after washing) and the length is quite generous. I am pleased with my purchase and very simply, a percale sheet set cannot be beat. :)

Crisp, cool, and “crunchy”......PERFECT!
Finally! After searching for “crunchy” sheets for years I’ve finally found them! These are the crisp, noisy, cold sheets my grandmom had! So excited to be able to sleep cool again! Definitely buying in every color (and deep enough pockets to stay on my king double pillow top with 3” foam topper! They do shrink a little, and are a wrinkly mess but I sprayed Downy wrinkle releaser on them and they are perfect!!!!

I gave these another try and I really wanted to love them however, the texture didn't calm down. What I am struck by, though, is all of the seriously negative reports about these sheets. It leads me to believe that those reviewers don't really understand what "percale" texture is all about. Please note that when you post these negative reviews you are (a) exposing your lack of research and awareness about what you were looking for and (b) you are harming independent businesses that rely on positive reviews on Amazon. It is our responsibility as adults to resist contributing to the garbage of the world. "If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all".
