Great watch for the money

I have now had this watch for a month and I continue to be impressed. First of all, it is a very elegant looking watch, with the same intricate design front and back. At first, I thought that would be a problem. How to know the front from the back when opening the case? After just a short while, I realized that the back of the case was flat, while the front of the case was slightly curved and the curve was easy to identify just by touch. After having the watch for a month, I also was pleased that the quartz movement of this watch is very accurate. Mine has been accurate to within 30 seconds or less for the entire month. Next, the case hinge and case release button work very smoothly. This watch is not what I would call heirloom quality, but I expect it to be a good solid performer for many years.

Good price for a decent watch

I ordered this for my son's birthday. It arrived quickly and was in a well protected box to prevent shipping damages from happening. I appreciated the price point for this, because it is difficult to find a decent pocket watch. I understand this isn't the highest quality of watches, but I didn't want to pay top dollar either. I really think this watch is a great purchase for the price. The watch has a good weight to it. Not too heavy, but not a flimsy lightweight material that feels like it's going to break the first time you open it.The face and back are the same with a crest on both. The silver is a nice color. It would be easy to match a different chain if you wanted. The chain that comes with it is a shorter chain meant for pants, but you could purchase a longer chain and have 2 ways of wearing it. The watch opens to the side with a push of the crown. Pulling gently on the crown will easily allow you to set both the time and date. The hands are a slim silver style that point to the silver Roman Numerals. It is a very classic look. I will see how long this watch lasts and update this if we see any issues, or if it continues running without fail (which is what I would expect) As of today, I feel this was a good purchase for the price.

Wonderful Watches and Wonderful Seller

Quick Summary: 1. Quality construction. 2. Trustworthy seller. 3. Worth the money. 4. Highly recommended. Interactions with Seller (WatchBuddy): I purchased 5 of these watches as Groomsman gifts. My wedding is a little less than 2 weeks away, and realizing I was buying these from a seller on the other side of the nation (I'm in Virginia, seller is in California), I sent a message to the seller explaining the situation. I received a response back the next morning (Monday) explaining that he'd ship out the watches that day. I paid for 3-5 day shipping, but I received the item in only 2 days. Not sure if it's a fluke, or if the seller upgraded my shipping to help me out a bit, but either way he got the watches to me promptly. I really appreciated the seller, "WatchBuddy". Looking at inspecting the watches, the packaging is very elegant and screams "quality product inside". The watches are impeccable, and the photos don't do them justice. They have a very solid feel to them, and are exactly what I could have hoped for from reading other reviews of this watch / brand online. (Granted I haven't actually carried these watches around with me. I'm just going by initial impressions, as they are gifts).

Beautiful looking watch but...

I received this pocket watch today, just opened the package. Watch looks very nice. Too bad it does not run! I will take it to a local jewelry shop tomorrow and have a new battery installed. Hopefully the watch will then run (as it should have done today when it arrived). Very, very disappointed as I was really looking forward to receiving the watch. Oh well. Two days later: new battery, watch keeping perfect time.

My first pocket watch

This is my first pocket watch and I'm glad that I invested in something more substantial. The chrome finish gives this watch an "antique" look (that is, in a world when "brushed" finishes are the mark of "modern"). Everything about it is stylish, but it's not hanging off my wrist, so it's not gaudy either. It has kept time very well over these first few months. I set it upon unpacking it from the box and haven't had to adjust it once. I look forward to this being something that a family member receives after I die (and I'm only in my mid-thirties). (Oh, and the best part is that it keeps my hands off of my cell phone, since I no longer have to check it for the time any longer!)

2nd times a charm!

I bought this watch as a gift, was very disappointed when it was opened by my husband on his birthday and it did not work! I contacted Amazon & they sent a replacement right away & arranged to have the non-working watch picked up. Although it was an awful experience to give a gift that had to be replaced, Amazon does stand behind their sales. The replacement watch does work and my husband really likes it. It looks well made, the watch is a good value and I would recommend it.
