Great tool

It’s a little heavy. Been an auto body person since 1974. Tools aren’t as good as they used to be in some things but this is as good a DA as you can get I would imagine. Don’t imagine I’ll wear it out. I’m not a Sping chicken anymore

Great aggressive sander

Working in a higher end shop where we do Porsche & Audi for 90% of our work. I have two other DA sanders (Hutchins & Snap-On), that are finishing DA’s that I sue majority of the time. When is comes to cutting and stripping of bumpers and hoods, this beast gets the job done a lot quicker. When we stripping a bumper job with the finishing sanders, it would take 1.5-2 hours, where as with this one it takes 30 tops. Well worth the price!. Plan on using this to strip down my 72 Nova

feels great one your hands for comfort and vibration

I tried to save a little one costing $27 and ended up using it once and through it away. This one works right one the spot. feels great one your hands for comfort and vibration. All metal unit even air speed dial. I did some auto body work with it and had very good sanding action. Easy control of orbital spin by air control and down pressure on sander. easy controlled along corners and rigges. I've been doing some wood working lately and gave it a try. It really works as great on wood as on auto putty and paint . It sucks air but not to any excess that I know of and vibration was pretty small. I didn't buy this for wood work but I well be using it all the time on wood sanding now.

GOOD quality

All the people that said this thing didn't work didn't adjust the air control knob that looks like a bolt, or didn't have a big enough tank. Think the cfm is wrong on the description. If you have a big job you're going to need a good size compressor. I have a 5' tall Craftsman compressor and it was working hard the whole time I was doing my boat. Had to stop here and there to let it catch up. But this thing is a beast. And it's really good quality. You will not be disappointed getting this one. The trigger is a little annoying but you learn to deal with it.

Had a chicago for 30 years before it gave up, so replaced it with another one. Not a good as the old one, but gets the job done.

Failed after 20hrs of use

I was really surprised that the DA sander failed after 20 hours of use. While it was working, it did a great job sanding. I actually had to slow it down, and use a higher grit sandpaper to slow down how much material it would take off. I gave it 3 stars because it failed so quickly. This was replacing a DA sander that i had used for years in a wood shop.

La máquina bien

Si, es pesada, pero es de calidad. Necesitas buen compresor pero perfecto. No tiene aspiración. Es muy útil para repasar chapa o decapar. También se puede usar para pulidos finales. Tiene orbita desconectable. Una pena que en la info de warehouse no indicasen que la palanca de accionamiento estuviese tan doblada, hubo que llevarla a reparar.

Great tool Great Price

For the price you can’t go wrong with this DA sander. It works wonders when removing paint compared to a finish sander. I used it to strip paint and remove deep grinder scratches. It feels high quality for being only $100ish. Would highly recommend!
