Mostly good

The towel stays wet for extended periods, but the case can't be used to carry water because it has a hole in the bottom. You also can't use the case to store the towel because it won't go back in.

Random spots when opened but Cool to touch

Bought 4.... Opened and saw random spots on 3 out of 4 towels. It is 107 degrees in TX and this was on my front porch for a few hours, The towels are slightly moist in their packaging so I have assumed it was from being so hot outside .... ?!?!? I have no idea… But I washed them, wrang them out, and tried them with warm water because it says to do that before the first to use then I drenched them and ice cold water and they seemed quite cool. Love that they arrive just in time for a 4-game tournament this weekend and such high heat temperatures !!!

Works but discolored/ugly

Bought 3 of these for a family trip to the tropics. One hot pink, one fluorescent green, one fluorescent yellow. Followed the instructions, which say you need to machine wash them before using (I washed them on delicate, cold, with regular soap). as you can see from the photo, the two “fluorescent” ones turned a sickly straw color… plus the yellow one absorbed some of the pink dye. They worked to cool, but were really ugly to wear around. Buy a different brand!

Chilly pad

Was looking to buy a cooling hat - did not like what I saw in reviews for them. These Chilly pads were listed as a similar item - they had several great reivews, so I opted to get one. It work great - better than I expected. I have been re-staining my stupidly large deck during the longest and hottest heat wave we have seen in southern IN - not my best idea. Used my new Chilly pad one day - wet it at 9am - wore it around my neck and down my back for 5+ hours when I came in for a break, the pad was still extremely cold. Even my wife was amazed at how cool it was after 5 hours in the sun and 100+ degree heat. These are a great buy I would recomend them to anyone who is going to be in the heat for an extended period. I will probably buy a couple more for spares.

Ugh..I love/hate

For the purpose of keeping cool, these do the job! However, the color bleeds like other reviews mention. I bought the yellow hoping it wouldn’t, but it did. I rinsed really well like recommended before using and tons of yellow bled out. After washing it, most of the yellow is gone and faded and unfortunately it did dye my other items I washed it with. Thankfully sheets. They do an amazing job at keeping cool and they did not dye our black shirts while using.

This is a crazy amazing product!

I got this for my son to use for a week of camping with Boy Scouts, and as it turned out-- nearly the whole week it was over 100 degrees, so it was incredibly useful for him. The texture feels a bit strange once you first get it on your skin, but the cooling feel is simply amazing and you are hooked first try. We are an active family, so I will be ordering more of these for each of us. While at camp, my son stored it sometimes in a zip lock bag and he said it got stinky. But after a good rinsing it was perfect again. All the boys at camp wanted one too... it was amazing.

Keeps me safe and sane in high humidity is and heat

I now live in Georgia where it's hot and Very high HUMIDITY. In the house I can't function when it is above 77F and over 30% humidity. Our ac is not working and it is 86F + and 70% + humidity in the house. I have heart problems and just sitting in a chair watching TV with a fan blowing on me I fill sick, hard breathing, headache, weak, and mentally/mood I am nasty. This helps me a lot. Example if I am hot I put this, wet and wrung out, on my leg, when I take it off the leg my leg is cool and where the towel touched my skin it is warm but moving some, if not dried out, it is cool again. I do not use this while doing things but to cool my core down and prevent any heat related problems.

Best cooling towel!

I've tried so many cooling towels working outside with kids, construction, camping and hiking. This one is by far the best you could invest in! Pros: - Doesn't leave wet or damp marks on your clothing, only product I've found that does this. - You don't need cold water when it starts to dry out, room temperature is more than adequate. - Easy to wash and clean. - No smell if you follow the pre-wash instructions before your first use. Cons: - Could affect people with sensory issues (spongy feeling when it's wet and rock solid when it's dry). If you don't mind the spongy feeling this is a must buy, especially during the summer and the increasing amount of heat waves that are happening each year.
