Great product and results

Maintaining a pool the right way always takes a little time...I always take a few minutes to dissolve my stabilizer in a bucket of warm water then pour it into the skimmer basket that has a skimmer sock...I never broadcast any dry chemicals into the pool to avoid any potential damage to the liner with the exception of fast dissolving pool salt.

Raised my 24k gallon pool 30ppm

As advertised this product raised my stabilizer 30ppm for my 24k gallon pool. It is a slow process and I did it in stages. Added about 1/3 of the bag at a time to the skimmer and checked levels after a few days. If your just opening your pool and had a lot of rain/runoff during the downtime, this product will get your levels right again.

The chlorine lasts long with this stabilizer added.

After I fixed our Beachcomber Hot Tub, I filled it up and started dialing in the Hardeness, PH, Alkalinity. Then I added this Stabilizer in very small increments over a couple days to dial in the Cyanuric acid reading. Now the chlorine levels last a lot longer now. Just as it should do.

Does what it’s supposed to....increases CYA and makes my chlorine last longer!

Good price and does what I need it to do. Despite the instructions, DO NOT ADD THIS PRODUCT TO YOUR SKIMMER BASKET! And definitely do not pour it straight into the water. These are larger granules and take longer to dissolve than other pool chemicals. Put it in a sock, tie it with a string (make sure it is strong enough), tie it to something so it dangles right in front of the jet return where the water comes out and squeeze the sock occasionally. This took me about an hour but may take longer depending on the amount and frequency of squeezing, LOL. Yes, it sounds weird, but it works. Google “cya sock method” for more info. I needed to increase my CYA from 30 to 40 ONCE AGAIN due to all of the rain, splash out from swimming, and adding hose water every other day due to evaporation and some slow leaks. This stuff does exactly what I needed it to do, and that was raise my CYA level. Now my pool holds my liquid chlorine (which does not contain any stabilizer, unlike chlorine pucks) and makes it last much longer so I’m not going through 4 gallons of regular bleach every week! I recommend this product! Just make sure you have a reliable testing kit to check your CYA levels and I do not recommend using this product if you are using chlorine tablets (trichlor) or other forms of stabilized chlorine (dichlor aka “shock”) which already contain stabilizer in them and will cause your CYA to get too high, which causes BIG problems - but that is a discussion for another day!
