We needed these curtains to help close off our living room from our kitchen and hallway in order to cool it more effectively. The smaller cubic feet would cool faster and stay cool longer, and since we don't have doors in those doorways, curtains were our answer. While these were exactly the size we needed and we could have gotten away with just ordering one set and placing a single pannel in each doorway, we ordered two based on the comments other buyers left. Each door has these curtains double up so that the cold air can only really escape through the curtain rod holes. Does it work? Yes! I can practically bake alive in the kitchen with the oven and stove going with the window open in July, but there is a crisp wall of cool air on the other side of those curtains now that it is being trapped in a smaller area. Is it the thickest material? No, but doubled-up these were a better rate than the fully-insulated, single pannels that were for sale. Is it blackout quality? Not when hung just as a single, and definitely not with the large curtain rod holes at the top, but they make our hallway super dark since we have them hung doubled-up.

I love it. But...

I love it. You need to iron with steam so that there are no wrinkles. But there is a defect on the inside of the curtains, a small black hole (two stars have been removed for this), it's good that this is not visible from the outside. I even wanted to buy more, but the price has doubled and there is no more free delivery, I ordered other curtains for another room.

Comfort Spaces Blackout Grommet Top Window Curtain Panel Pair Noise Reducing, Energy Efficient curtains are wonderful. I purchased for the blackout feature, but I received so much more. The curtains help to diminish the noise level from outside, and they appear to be energy efficient. They were wrinkle from the packing, but those wrinkles are less noticeable every day. This was a good purchase.
