Great timer! I have several of these in the lab previously, so I knew the brand/model & quality.

Don’t be fooled! BEWARE! Not the Traceable 5000 pictured!
First- I have used the Control Company Traceable 5000 timer for years in my lab. Love everything about it. It counts up, counts down, three independent channels. Durable. Loud enough to be heard over the din on pumps, agitators, stirrers and the occasional AC/DC song played on the stereo. I ordered a new timer for another lab. The Control Company sent the one pictured with a note saying that this is a temporary substitute. I spoke with the Control Company on the phone and was told that ‘their management’ had made the decision to pack a substitute in the 5000’s box because the 5000 is not available right now due to a production issue; they will not replace this timer with the correct one once the production issue is resolved. The substitute is a cheap kitchen timer... I called all of my lab equipment suppliers to see if I could get a 5000. They also have the cheap kitchen timer in their stock as well. The Control Company needs to make this right. Terrible.

Do not purchase any timer from control company. This company with charge you full price once this trash breaks. It happens a lot in our lab.
