Pretty good quality; like it

I have a grouping of black cast iron candlesticks already and purchased this one to add to that. I will agree with another reviewer that Amazon needs to stop shipping these just shoved into a paper (barely padded) mailer with no wrapping. Mine showed up in just that like someone grabbed it off a shelf and shoved it into an envelope. Fortunately, my shipment arrived okay. I would give 5 stars but the one that arrived is not perfectly plumb (when you rotate the candlestick while it is on a flat surface it is evident that it is leaning just slightly. I still decided to keep it as this imperfection was small enough and still looks okay grouped together with my other iron candlesticks and, in some way, enhances the rustic, hand-made quality inherent in its crafting. I would have preferred it to be perfectly upright/plumb but I made it work. Holds my Luminara ivory 9" taper just right.

heavy and tall

I liked the product very much. It is taller than I wanted, but for the price and sturdiness I'm keeping them and putting them on the fireplace mantel. Glad I discovered creative co-op. My style, although they are made in China. I thought I was paying for one and I got two!

Heavy duty, worth the price

I was very hesitant to buy these and I actually bought a couple cheaper candlesticks because I wasn’t sure these were worth the price, but they really are. They are heavy and are a really nice quality. Looks great on my mantle and fits with our farmhouse styled decor.

Good! Could be improved upon for $

The good: the weight of these feel premium. They look modern and hand crafted. Love the height. The not so good: the packaging is non existent. So if you were to gift these, they arrive in just an Amazon box. Because of this, the black paint was scratched in a few spots as it rubbed up against other items in my order. The holder also needs to be filed down inside where candle is inserted. I carefully placed a candle in and the wax got scraped up a bit. For the price, I probably wouldn't buy the trio even though I love the look.

Heavy Duty Candle Holder

A nice heavy duty candle. Black color fits in any decor. Would make a great gift. Made of cast iron to make it very sturdy. Since it has a rough cast iron bottom it can be tipped over very easily because of its height.

Primitive yet modern

I am so in love with this candle stick. I'm a huge fan of iron anyway and the sleek minimalist design of this piece is the icing on the cake. The piece is cast iron, so it does have seams (a couple pictures highlight that), but they are barely noticeable. The cavity for the candle is large enough to accommodate every taper I had in my house, and in a couple cases I needed to drip a little wax in the bottom to help thinner tapers stand up straight. The piece itself is nice and straight, although it doesn't have that mass-produced, perfectly straight look to it at all. Also, while the piece is iron and is very sturdy (you could seriously hurt someone with it), its narrowest point is very fragile, so you want to prevent it from falling or being dropped. The candle shown in the pictures is an 8-inch taper and I think it's the perfect length for such a tall candle stick. If you REALLY want to make a statement, stick a 12-inch taper in that puppy. This is gorgeous and elegant and I am so happy I ordered it.

Leaning candleholder

I’m disappointed with how the candle holder sits crooked on all surfaces. If this was a straight candle holder I would have given an excellent rating.
