It measures up to my expectations
This is a really nice little measure. I got it for my son to replace the 10' Stanley he broke because the tape was too thin to be sturdy. This one is a "real tool" and not a novelty. I'm really pleased with it.

Quality for its price. Perfect for wargaming
Solid product for the price. Quality feels okay but not sure if it can handle heavy wear and tear. Only time will tell. Probably buy more in the future

A nice tape measure for the money
I made this purchase to replace an older, metal-cased major-named tape measure that finally was unrepairable. I was pleasantly surprised for the $5.00 purchase price, that this tape works very well! The spring has enough tension to make tape retraction easy, and the lock works as it should. Easy-to-read numbers and markings aid in everyday use. Overall, a good purchase for the money spent.

Package Impossible to open.
What is wrong with manufacturers? You put a $4 item in a package that is virtually impossible to open. Then when you use a scissor, you risk life and limb, even a possible trip to the emergency room for stitches from a gash from the shar plastic. After a half hour of gently cutting the plastic wearing gloves, I finally got down to the middle part, which had a screw in it for the belt holder. I figured, do I want to continue with this, throw it in the garbage, scream or just unscrew the belt holder off, because the plastic was screwed into the belt holder. So, if you don't want to frustrate yourself and use $%#&^% words, I would suggest getting a loose tape measure while in a tool store.

You pay for what you get... I bought 3 because my kids wanted to play with them and within a week they broke so yea not purchasing again.

NO METRIC INCRIMENTS!
Just got it in the mail and it's not metric as described in the description. Only imperial measurement.
