Good product. Price is too high.
(Item: DATA COMM Electronics 45-0006-WH Hole Saw Plate - White) (UPDATE): 03/12/23 I found these on Amazon by Monoprice (a brand I’m familiar with). They’re virtually identical. Though prices change all the time, these usually cost less. Monoprice Hole Saw Plate: https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-118653-Hole-Saw-Plate/dp/B072BCKMQR/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 (ORIGINAL REVIEW): This mini wall mount is almost perfect. It’s just big enough for 3 wires and hides nicely behind whatever electronics you’re mounting to the wall. The wings on the back fasten well to drywall and hold the plate securely in place. And, it can be removed if needed (in case you need to change wires). I love it, except that it’s expensive. It should fairly be priced somewhere between $6-$8. It’s unfortunate as there are hardly any alternatives for a wall plate of this quality in this size. When buying for just one room, you won’t even think twice about the cost. But, when you’re buying for four (or more) rooms, you suddenly realize how expensive this piece is compared to other wall plates. While I would have loved to use these in multiple places in multiple rooms, these are a little too expensive for that ($13 at the time of the review) . Again, it’s a good quality wall mount plate and very easy to install. Just wish there was more competition in this size range. Gets the job done
Used a couple for wiring kitchen cabinet lighting. Had to run wire through attic since kitchen cabinets sit on multiple opposite walls. Looks pretty great. Didn't need the larger pass through cable and these do a good job with their smaller profile. I knocked a star off for price. Feel like it should be a few dollars less.

Exactly as advertised
I purchased this product as a way to run the power cord and signal cable from the junction panel to my modem in order to hide the wiring in-wall. I used a floating shelf to position the modem above the panel with the datacomm port slightly above it. Installation was easy using the recommended hole saw bit and a drill - the datacomm fit snugly but did not require a lot of effort to position in the drywall hole. The flip tabs locked the plate securely with no gaps around the edges. The pass-through bristles are a bit stiff but well made, but a large plug head would be difficult to fit through the opening. My modem plug was a standard size and fit through well with the additional coaxial signal cable.

Quality product, attractive and effective when managing 1 or 2 cables.
Just what I needed and hoped it would be. This is plate is small, attractive and very easy to see that is a quality product and very well made. Just make sure you follow the instructions and run the cable/s through the plate before actually installing it on the wall. I used it to hide a couple cables coming out of a sound bar I wall mounted. The wall plate completely disappeared behind the sound bar and giving me a very clean uncluttered installation. Even if the plate remains visible the black polished finish is attractive and a great cable management solution when wanting to hide 1 or 2 cables.

Cheaply Made but Good Enough to do the Job
Very easy to install. Cut a hole in the drywall, fish cables out of the wall and pass them through the Hole Saw Plate, place Hole Saw Plate in wall then tighten both screws. 4 star because the one of the tension devices bent instead of tightening but the Hole Saw Plate does stay mounted, just not a securely as I would have liked.

Problem Solved

Worked beautifully
This is exactly what I was looking for. It's the smallest pass through wall plate I could find and it was extremely easy to install. It's significantly smaller than a normal wall plate or any other pass through plate or even wall grommet which makes it perfect for hiding behind sound bars and other small electronics. A 1 3/4" hole saw, as specified in the instructions, was the perfect size to install this. If you use the proper size hole saw and still have issues installing it it's because you're doing it wrong. Back off the screws, push them flush to the face plate and then fold the ears in until they're flush with the circular lip on the backside. The wall plate will then slide right in and you'll even have some room to spare. Don't overnighten the screws either. Just snug them up. You only want to stop the wall plate from moving. As for capacity, don't expect more than 3-4 cables to squeeze through it. Hdmi cables in particular will have trouble squeezing through once there are a couple of cables already in there.

Works like a hole in the wall
Cut 2 holes in drywall, inserted brush plates. I can now pass cables through successfully. Sheer brilliance!
