Amazing collar

Cute but stinky
I was very excited to see a Guardians collar for my Quill, a golden retriever. The reviews were good. So I decided to try even though it was so pricey (apparently is cheaper now). Rated a 3 since the collar is durable and well made, but here's my issues: 1) Hard to open. My husband doesn't seem to have trouble getting the collar off, but I pinch and tug with both hands, hurt myself, and still have to ask him to help me. 2) Stinky. My dog loves to play in the rain, roll in puddles, and take showers. His fluffy neck and thus the collar would stay damp for a while, thus issue 1 becomes a constant problem since I want to take it off and dry it and him properly. However, whether I take it off or not, wash it with soap or not, it always stinks. Not just like wet dog but...gross. Like the water has penetrated into the very atoms of the material and created a bog of eternal stench. I don't see others complaining about this, so maybe I got a bad one that's harder to open, and the stink is due to the unique combination of my dog's breed, activities, and collar material retaining water and junk, but I've had to give up using this collar altogether and have purchased a good leather collar instead, which only stinks when the dog rolls in poop or dead things.

A Little High Dollar- But Very Satisfied
Bought this collar after my fur buddy chewed the plastic clasp on his other collar. The collar "buckle" is metal and sturdy. Its a tainchy bit challenging pressing the release button deep enough to remove the collar sometimes- but I do have arthritis. I've never NOT been able to release the clasp. Colors are vibrant and so far the material and stitching have held up to the routine doggy scratching! (Its been about 4 months). I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to others and their little Guardians of the Galaxy!

Very cute, a little big for small dogs
So cute and very sturdy! We get compliments on it all the time. At the very tightest setting it fits my 7lb chihuahua just right, but if he was any smaller it would be too loose.
