UGGS for those on a budget

I bought these as a present for my mother for her birthday and she absolutely *adores* them! She wanted a comfortable slipper that she could wear both around the house and also when she needs to run outside (like to the mailbox) real quick. She loves the look and feel of UGG boots but forbade me to pay that kind of money, so when I saw these I knew they'd fit the bill. She adores them and wears them pretty much nonstop when she's at home. She says they keep her feet warm - which is important with her arthritis - without making them hot, and they're "stupidly comfy!" The soles are very sturdy, which is perfect for when she goes outside, and give her a really good traction inside the house on her tile floors. At this rate, she might be getting another pair for Christmas!

Check the size!

I bought one of these first, and had to send them back, because they run very small. I use arch support inserts, so I got two sizes bigger (I wear size 7 and bought size 9) and now they seem ok. The first ones had a lot thicker lining, but these are still warm.

Tight across my instep

The stitching across the instep is very tight, making them difficult to put on when new. I've been wearing them for a couple of days now and they're stretching and getting better, but it's something to keep in mind. Also, I ordered a half size up, since they only come in full sizes, and could have easily used another half size up if it was available.

Can't get foot in slipper

The opening for this slipper is too small for a size 11 or size 10 foot to fit through. I was given this as a replacement for another slipper that had the same issue. Don't waste your money unless you have size 11 feet with teeny tiny ankles.

Warm, comfy and did I say, warm?

Dearborn slippers are good slippers. Many have bottoms for outdoo wear. These are no exception. The front flap folds down for warmer days or times by the fire. When the flap is up, you have an extra layer of protection against the cold (even warm without socks). Easy slip on, skip off. LOVE THEM! I even bought two additional pairs in same style/different colors and pattern for next winter! I hope they have a whole line of these for 2022/23.

Awkward and boxy

I was disappointed because these were clumsy-looking. Big and boxy. I already wear a size 9, and these made me look like I had Chewbacca feet! While they did keep my feet warm, the cut on the side left my ankles exposed & cold. Probably O.K. for a young lady, but for an old grandma, I worry about tripping & falling. For me, these are just too clumsy to wear around the house.

Fell Apart New-Not worth buying

After only four wearings inside the house the right foot fell apart. The glue gave way all down the inner side from toe to heel on the fourth time wearing as slippers around my home. Supplier neither offered a partial refund or an exchange, and I didn’t find the price cheap so dissatisfied. Don’t recommend.

Love them

My favorite pair of boots love them! They fit so well and are very soft inside to keep your feet warm I usually fit a size 10 but the 11 fit perfectly! A must buy if you like boots like me.
