Best Purchase Ever!

I must be super lucky because the cabinet I received arrived in perfect condition. And I’m pretty OCD with stuff like this. Also, it is real wood. Perhaps not the best quality of wood, but for the shabby-chic look, it’s spot on. If you’re looking for something with a nice-polished look, this isn’t it. Perfect for a French Country Farmhouse look. Quite easy to hang if you place the nails in the attached hooks on the backside of the cabinet. I then added some masking tape to hold the nails in place then pressed the cabinet up against the wall in the location I chose for hanging. This will give you little nail indentions in the wall for where to hammer the nails into place. But before hammering in, I used a level to make sure they were level. This will give you the exact proper distance. Got it on the first try. I had been looking for something like this to hang above my cabinet I purchased at Hobby Lobby and this is perfect.

A royal pain to hang. Blame the hardware

Hard to find an arch-top bathroom cabinet. This one looks nice and (let’s be real) we all know that for the price, this is likely mostly not “real”, quality wood. That said, it’s sturdy enough for shampoo and lotion bottles. But looks aren’t everything. How it is mounted counts too. I had a tough time hanging it. Notice how each back corner has a keyhole hanger. That means that not only must you center and make all mounting holes completely level, but if you are using screws (as I did) with heads that fit the keyhole entry without much room to spare, your measurements must be absolutely spot-on when measuring and drawing your mounting grid on the wall. My grid was correct, but when hand-installing the screws slowly, they traveled EVER So slightly off from dead, level center and once that happened, lining up the screw heads was impossible. Shame on the manufacturer for using hanging hardware like this. A professional would have a tough time with this trash. As I ended up, I managed to hang it on three hangers, and the last just didn’t make it, so to feel good about this not popping off the wall, I’ll probably have to drill through the back of the cabinet into a wall joist for real support. Oh wait…the cabinet doesn’t hang flat against the wall because these keyhole hangers cause a stand off of a 1/4”….????

Cheapo Construction

Installed this product on a wall in my dining room to hold an overflow of teacups I inherited from a dear friend who passed away. My complaints are: #1. 1 door doesn't close properly and the magnet on that side is worthless and useless. #2. There are only two shelves total. The bottom of the unit and one shelf in the middle. Stacking wobbly teacups is scary but the only way to utilize the space for what I need. #3. The depth of the cabinet is too narrow some saucers so you have to edit out what won't fit. I'm not happy with this purchase at all. However, I will say it's darned cute and very shabby chic.

Very Distressed Cabinet

It's solidly made and very handsome. The doors close very well. It was described as "distressed", perhaps "abused" would be more accurate. Paint was sanded off in many places, and the paint that remained was a cheap, flat white. I sponged a very pale grey over the entire thing, including the mesh doors (they are not glass). Then added two coats of clear semi-gloss. Now it looks great!

Love This Cabinet

This little cabinet was exactly what I needed in my upscale farmhouse kitchen! One shelf. Cute doors. Only weighs 14 pounds and easy to hang just using a couple med nails. Photo in background shows how sweet it looks. No assembly. White with chipped paint gives it a distressed antique look. I have gotten so many compliments on this!

Be Ready For Some Work!

The cabinet is not a good kinda vintage look - it definitely looks like a 'made in China vintage' cabinet. It has a good shape, and that's what made me buy it. I have repainted and re-aged it. I have taken the teardrop pulls out (they weren't aligned), and I'm planning to change the inside trim. You can see nails everywhere. Better option would be look for a real vintage cabinet at a yard sale for $15. Im keeping it because I've purchased it for an artsy creation.

Very cute cabinet!

Very cute cabinet. Looks like an antique and the finish very rustic which is what I was looking for. There was a small piece of the trim that broke away where it holds in the wire door front inside of the door but not enough to return as I didn’t notice until the cabinet was hung. Overall I really love it. Hung it over the toilet in my master bath. Easy to hang. Just need to find the right screws.
