No sharp edges

Most shoe or moccasin types have a rigid edge that cuts into the ankles over time - these do not. My typical shoe size is 11-13 Wide, but this one fits, albeit somewhat loosely, I probably could have gone for a 15 Wide, so get a size or so larger than normal.

Has its pros and cons

Firstly, I am glad I read reviews about how small these slippers run. I ordered an 11 wide when I am size 10 regular. They were still slightly snug but stretched just enough to fit ok after a couple of weeks. The upper looks nice and seems fairly sturdy. The faux shearling lining is soft to the touch but a little thin. The sole isn't as thick and comfortable as they imply, and I'm not feeling much cushioning even when wearing socks. At this price I was expecting a little more from the sole. But if you value sturdiness over comfort, you might like these slippers.

my only issue is that it is not natural leather and so gets hot. looks decent, and you can wear outside.

These are for my husband. They are nicely lined, very comfy, can be worn in or outdoors, have a good non-slip type sole. He likes them and they look good.
