Drip-Drip-Drip After Less Than 2 Years

They don't make things like they used to

I had an older version of this which was much better. Sad to see reduced quality: 1) Aerator makes high high pitch noise, had to replace. 2) Makes random thud noises. 3) Sink gasket has sharp corners that need to be trimmed. Old version had consistent offset and round corners.

Old style faucet that works perfectly. Since it's all brass construction and of simple design, I expect this faucet to last a very long time. My only complaint is the faucet hose included is very cheaply made. All plastic including the hose head. I would think Delta would have proved a reinforced steel mesh hose as they provide in their single handle models with the hose included in the faucet nozzle. Here's a tip to increase your pressure and water flow with this faucet. If you have cheap 3/8" PEX tubing supply lines like I had, replace them with 1/2" steel mesh hose lines. My water pressure doubled in volume when I did so.

So far so good - very good, in fact

I just finished installing it and it works beautifully. It replaces a 1950s model that was corroded & rusted to the sink - it took 3X as long to remove the old one than to install the new one. The installation instructions could have been a bit more clear, but it was possible to figure it out by comparing the pieces in the box and the pictures in the instructions. Too bad the hose handle is chrome-colored plastic; it will eventually need to be replaced, but it works much better than the old one for now. The one I got did not include the hoses to connect to the hot & cold but I wanted mesh metal ones, not plastic, anyway so a quick trip to my local hardware store & $15 did the trick. If it goes kablooie sometime in the future, I'll update this review, but it seems pretty solid and I expect no problems.

Improved version of an old favorite

We had the earlier version of this same product and loved it. Unfortunately the quick connect feature for the spray hose broke and we needed to replace the faucet. Newer faucets from Delta tend to have a lot of shiny plastic parts but this faucet is chrome plated brass and will stand up to years of use. Interestingly the two parts on the old faucet that had given us trouble (the spray head trigger and the spray hose quick connect) were both redesigned in this model. I'm confident we'll be enjoying this faucet for years to come.

The Classic

The gold standard of kitchen faucets. The Delta line-up includes many offerings which are fancier and more expensive, but none are any better than this. The tried-and-true ball valve design with easily replaceable seats and springs makes choosing this faucet a no-brainer. The lever action is buttery smooth and positive. Installation is easy. The finish is attractive and durable. Many cheap copies of this basic design abound, but this is the original quality unit, an American plumbing classic.

Have been buying these for years in 52 unit apartment complex, will continue to use.

These look like they'd be your common "starter, budget" faucet, but you know what? They actually last quite a long while and shine up nicely after a quick wipe, even after years of use. I'm hating all the cheap faucets made today that only last a few years but cost you hundreds of dollars! We use these in our 52 unit apartments and keep buying the same ones because they're true and tested. Also, they are easy and inexpensive to fix if a part does wear out (gasket or ball). This is the same as the 300-WF, just lead free (hence the LF). Parts are interchangeable if need.
