Great head but the valve doesn’t completely stop the water

I really like this all metal shower head. It fans the water and seems to make a great use of it for water conservation purposes. Im confident that it will last for years and years. It also seems to increase the water pressure, so the built in throttling valve is key. It’s not indulgent or wasteful by spraying thick jets of water- it definitely conserves by spraying and fanning; However, the fan of water sprays all of it towards the outside of the conical spray pattern. The further away you move from the head, the more water sprays to the sides in a conical shape, if that makes sense- very little water is directed centrally in the spray pattern. Additionally, the built in throttling valve can’t and won’t shut your water off all the way, though it drastically reduces it to a weeping trickle. I installed a ball valve behind this shower head to allow me to shut it down 100%.

Almost perfect…

This showerhead is almost perfect as it delivers a lot of spray and force for its small size. this is perfect if you have a low pressure, it will definitely increase that. The only issue I have is that with all of the force it delivers which I love, the water is not as hot for some reason, I cannot figure that out but I had to leave that battery stars for this reason.

Seriously the best no frills shower head there is.

Strong flow even with low-ish water pressure and the spray pattern isn't simply a ring of water like most shower heads, IT'S A CYLINDER!
