Very nice panel

Looks very pretty! I like the deep colors and contrasts used by the artist. The only negative and it's a matter of personal taste is that the panel is not transparent, so it's not really possible to see light through the colors.

Absolutely Exquisite Piece. This has become a focal point of our home.

This stained glass window absolutely blew me away when I first opened the packaging. Words do not do this justice for how beautifully crafted this is. The colors are much more turquoise/blue than shown in the Amazon listing, in a good way. We searched for a perfect place to hang this, as we did not want to fully remove a window and to have this permanently installed. The stained glass window comes with two brackets to screw into the wall, and two chains for hanging, which can be clipped to your preferred length for a customized look. EDITING TO ADD: This can only be hung portrait (up and down), and NOT landscape (side to side). We screwed the brackets into the side of our dining room window frame, and hung this with the chains. I included photos before we clipped the chain to our preferred length. This has absolutely become a focal point of our home and we constantly get compliments about how beautiful this is. We included this in our dining area because many of the colors were muted, neutral, and gray. This adds such a beautiful pop of color, and when light pours into the room it really glows. I'm planning on adding large gallery abstract prints on the walls as a contrast to this traditional stained glass piece, and think that the final product will be the stuff of my dreams. I absolutely recommend this window, and the craftsmanship is beyond my expectations.

I received this window by mistake

I ordered two Design Toscano grape window panels. I received one of the grape panels and this one. I needed a matching pair. But, I have decided to keep this one and gift it. See pictures.

Actual colors are nothing like the picture

For at least the pannel I received, the colors in the glass where nothing like the picture even allowing for variance with the glass and in lighting conditions. The orange boarder was a bright yellow, what looks to be grey in the bottom portion was actually lavender and the reddish area in he center was light pink. The end result was garish and cheap looking instead f the more stately looking piece represented in the picture.

The colours in the picture are wrong-It's a beautiful piece of stained glass.

As I said, the camera took a very poor picture. There is no heavy grey in the picture, near the centre. All the colours blend well and effortlessly to create a picture that will fill any room with nostalgia and congruous colours.

Pretty nice, but not exactly like image

Pretty nice, works for me. It's fairly heavy, be aware. Seems strongly built. Comes with two black chains each 43cm long including the two hooks at each end, and comes with two fasteners to screw into the wall etc but no screws. You'll want to use long strong screws because of the object's weight. Basically it is lighter colour and brighter than the image as it appears on my screen. The yellow surrounding glass is less amber and rather more banana. The light blue round spots are a brighter turquoise blue in reality. The small arch of circles at the bottom is red glass NOT yellow as in the picture. It came quickly and was very well packaged.

This large stained glass panel from Design Toscano is designed to be hung at a suitable window and comes complete with fixings and chains to attach to the scroll-brackets at the top of it's frame. If you are the creative type you could mount the panel in a number of other ways, but if hanging as intended you may wish to consider using your own sturdy fixings if you are not completely happy with ones supplied, or if you want a different hanging length. This colourful panel is in the Tiffany-style and comes supplied with an informative leaflet telling a brief history of stained glass, a comprehensive description of the modern copper-foil technique known as the Tiffany method, plus the safe way to clean the delicate glass pieces when they becomes discoloured. This panel measures 48.5cm by 63.5cm (19" by 25") and weighs 2.75 kg (6 lbs); as each one is hand-crafted every piece is unique featuring individual variations in texture and colour. This multi-coloured St. Katherine's Row panel will look rather special when hung in the right location allowing the sunlight to shine through the colourful glass – it will also provide a degree of privacy where required. This panel is currently over two hundred pounds from Amazon but it is well made for the price and would make a unique and unusual eye-catching Victorian-style feature when mounted in the right setting.

An attractive display piece

This is an attractive feature piece for window hanging. The yellow glass is a bit more towards an orangey hue than in the photo on this page. The black paint over the retaining lead strip between the sections (if indeed it is real lead underneath) could be a bit neater to be honest, but unless you're going to be inspecting it close up every day it's passable enough. As well as the large size, you need to take into account the length of the two hanging chains, which add an extra 43cm. (You should be able to remove some links of course if you want them shorter, but opening a link may possibly render it weak or unusable thereafter, so shortening them may be a non-reversible process.) The black coloured chains have 'snap hook' style clips at each end so they can attach and detach fairly easily to the piece itself, and to the included black coloured brackets which can be screwed to your window lintel. Contrary to the other two reviews currently here, no screws are included (I doubt this is an omission in my case as screws are not mentioned in the product description whereas the chains and brackets are). I suspect that this could also be successfully hung 'picture' style with a single chain of your own choosing (it might be possible to cannibalise both the included chains to make a single one) draped over a suitably strong fitting.
