We love our standard poodle and this statue makes us smile. Awesome gift for the SPoo (Standard POOdle) lover! Great quality for indoors. I did not try it outdoors. It’s solid and just the right weight to not tip over if you bump it.

These are of substantial weight and great quality. Much nicer in person. Plus the price on Amazon was much less than Wayfair for same exact item. Highly recommend. These didn't work for me style wise so I need to return. Super easy - just dropping at UPS. AMAZON IS THE BEST!

Ok, but expensive

Compared to some of the other Design Toscano art artefacts this suits my tastes more. Yes, it's a poodle, and I'm not that fond of dogs, or poodles in particular. But it has a sort of South American Aztec look and I like the silver finish. It's not metall though and seems to be made of some sort of plaster-like material. A factor to bear in mind is that this is pretty big - make sure you look at the dimensions given by Amazon. The manufacturer seems to suggest that the statue is for outdoor use but it works in a spacious, minimalist, indoor environment. This is relevant as the statue is not that heavy and has a high centre of gravity. It could be blown over if placed outside. Whilst it's not particularly delicate - although Toscano take no risks delivering it in an enormous box in a polystyrene sleeve - it might be damaged falling over. Also it's not frost resistant so you'll need to move it in the winter or protect it from frost. Overall it's not a bad product, and looks a little better in real life than the photo indicates. However, it's not cheap and I think I'd be disappointed if I'd paid the list price for the statue especially as it's not metal. So three stars, four if it was less expensive.

A nice statue to keep in the garden [with care] or in the home.

The Design Toscano "Caniche Chien Paris Poodle Dog" Statue - Brown arrives very well packaged in protective polystyrene and sturdy box. Its relatively light in weight but fairly bulky. Opening the box reveals the statue and some care instructions for the statue. I would describe this as medium in build size. Its well put together and of a quality build construction, you can keep this in the house or outside. Be warned if kept outside this requires protection from frost or very windy days. Its a nice elegant 'arty' modern design and pleasing to the eye. We quite liked it and its nice piece in the garden.

Quite big!

This is pretty big and to be honest, not as dainty as I thought that it would be. It's a heavily stylised poodle in a composite stone, resin-like material. The finish is a pewter effect. I have placed it in the garden and it needs frost protection later in the year. It's on a flat surface, so hopefully won't topple over. It's not light or very heavy, to be honest. Fairly stable one would have thought, a long as it doesn't get too much abuse from children or pets. I do like Toscano figures, but I'm not that sold on this one. I know some people will really like it.
