Our little backyard darling

My dress-up darling is so adorable in our back yard. She reminds me of those days so long ago when I too played dress up wearing my Mother's high heels. I probably looked just like this little girl with her arms out front trying to balance herself. I went to Walmart and bought her a pearl necklace and bracelets for both arms so she really does look like she's playing dress up in her Mother's shoes and jewelry! We love her!

Impressive garden statue.

Given its' price and size this garden ornament should be a considered purchase, at £162.65 and at 1 inch short of 3 foot in height it may look out of place in too small a garden. On first viewing her face looked odd up close, but once sited in the garden the overall effect was charming. It is a large substantial piece which means you can see the detail from a distance, the features which are recessed such as eyes, hair, folds of the dress I think will only be enhanced with age and weathering. This is a well made statue and I've never seen anything quite like it in a garden centre, it is very lifelike and I think this is what justifies the price. Of course, she doesn't look out of place in our garden alongside rabbits, a teddy and a troupe of gnomes but she perhaps wouldn't mix well with gargoyles and dragons.

Well made and pretty large statue.

This is bigger than it looks and is actually bigger than my 2 year old daughter! Very well made with a good solid feel and very easy to assemble just add the arms in and you are good to go so the work of seconds. I suspect it will age well and weather will simply add charactor. It may not be too everyones taste but tucked away in the garden behind a tree or bush it adds charactor. Not sure about the price (£162 at time of writing) seems high but then these things usually are judging from the price at my local Garden Centre. The moulding is very detailed and all in all great quality.

Huge Hillary!

Hillary is HUGE! Her shoes are HUGE too! This is a well made, delightful addition to that special garden, and would look great next to a water feature. The massive statue is not as heavy as I expected considering its size. The moulding is very good indeed and the detail fantastic. Delivered in a a well padded box, the detached arms were simple to screw on. Lovely item
