Finally found some sturdy work pants.
Had to hem, but definitely run a little small. I normally wear a size 14 but the 12 fits good. 99percent cotton and didn’t die out in the field. Can’t speak to color fastness because honestly I don’t care. Hammer loop and pockets are perfect sizes for tools and seem to be reinforced. I did have to hem them but that’s normal.

Dickies jeans
They fit good in the waist, but very loose in the butt and legs.

These are baggy
The pants received are not the same ones shown in the 1st picture. The fit are NOT THE SAME. The ones delivered are a baggy fit. Still good quality, good length too.

Size down
I wear a size 10 but had to return them and size down to an 8 which fit perfect. Wish they had them in short as I had to hem them up to fit me as they were to long.

Absolutely love these
These are the best women’s work pants I have ever bought. I have since bought multiple pairs, since I like them so much. They are comfortable, durable, loose fitting, and have the perfect pockets. The pockets are deep enough to fit my phone, and the loops and additional pockets are perfect for holding tools, fasteners, and whatever else I’ve needed quick access to while woodworking. They are loose, so if you like them to be form fitting, size down. Otherwise, just make sure you wear a belt if you want to keep stuff in the pockets. Highly recommend!!

I like them!
I saw someone wearing a pair of Dickies and asked where she got them. Then I came to Amazon to shop for them. Based on the size chart, I ordered a size 8. (I’m 5’3”, 138lbs, short waisted with slightly long legs.). Tried these on as soon as they came, and the waist is a little loose, as are the hips, but I wanted them loose in the hips. I’m washing and drying them in the dryer to soften them and see if they draw up a little. If needed, I’ll have the waist taken in, because I don’t want to lose the slightly loose fit of the hips. I think they’ll be great for hiking and casual wear (60 yes old, retired, and I don’t “dress to impress” much anymore - ha!). Happy with these!

Last a lifetime
This is my first pair of Dickies but unlikely to be my last. I am a teacher and love having all the pockets that are on these pants. I can keep pens, pencils and my phone safely in the pockets. They are pretty thick so if you work outside in a warm climate they might not be the best pants for you. I spend my day in air-conditioning and then in an ice rick for my son's hockey practices so these work great! They run a bit on the larger side but not so much that they are unflattering, just comfortably roomy. I love the durability...these pants feel like they will last a lifetime which is important to me.

Fits large and stretches during wear
I ordered these in my regular size, but immediately swapped for for a smaller size. After wearing them for a few months and seeing how much they stretch throughout the course of a day's work, I could have probably gone down two sizes (12 to 8). I typically always wear a 12, less often a 10 in most workwear brands. For context, I've been wearing these regularly (1x or 2x/week) and work in a humid manufacturing environment where I do lots of bending, lifting, and climbing around metal and wood. I'm rough on my work clothes. I've tried a lot of work pants (women and men's) over the past 15 years. I have opinions. Positives: -soft and comfortable -tolerated a fair amount of abuse and still look good -minor signs of regular wear-and-tear but no signs of an impending crotch blowout (how my work pants usually die). -legs fit over my work boots (safety concern in my line of work) -great price Negatives: -fabric has way too much stretch and I can't stress this enough After working for an hour they begin falling down. A belt helps, but I don't need to undo these pants to take them off and also I start flashing undies when I bend over -proportions are slightly off for my body : lots of excess fabric in the FUPA zone compared to the waist and hip measurements, I have to cuff them 3x (note that this is only a negative for me because I'm short, but 3x is a lot!) These aren't my favorite work pants by a longshot but they're my favorite for when my Top Three favorites are in the wash. Not the worst I've tried by far, but not the best.

Not cut for women
I have a pair of Dickies work dungarees, which I love and had hoped these carpenter trousers would be just as good. Stylistically they are perfect, but they appear to be cut for men. The bottom half of the leg is too wide and they are baggy around the crotch. It’s such a shame because women in construction/gardening need good workwear.

Good quality pants
I wasnt sure what size to go with, 6 or 8, so I decided to order both. According to the chart, I was a size 8, but they were super big on me. Going with what other reviews had stated (to order a size down), the 6 fits well in the thighs and is only slightly big in the waist, but that's easily fixed with a belt. They're a bit long on me so I have to roll the cuffs up, but that's not a dealbreaker for me. I really appreciate the pocket space, especially the right leg pocket which fits my phone perfectly and comfortably. Overall, love these pants

What’s up with the crotch area?
I just received these and I wanted to love them but once I tried them on the crotch area is huge, they seem to be designed for a man. They are great otherwise, a little long for me I’m 5”3 but fit comfortably. Might return due to the spacious crotch.
