Maybe it’s my fault for not reading enough but I was surprised when this didn’t fold open and ready to use. There’s a folded bag and a ton of cardboard pieces that you have to assemble yourself in order to use this. Guess we’ll see what happens once I take my Christmas tree down and need to put this together ..

Holds a ton and great quality!
Finally got around to taking down the tree and was super excited to realize every single ornament fit in this container with blank spaces to spare. I have a 7.5 artificial tree, quite full of ornaments. It's easy to assemble with 3 layers of 25 ornaments each. There are cardboard grid pieces you slide together and put on the bottom - that's your first layer. Then repeat that two more times with fabric covered/with tabs to grab, cardboard dividers between layers. The layers fit snugly which is nice, but not sure how easy it will be to remove them if you wanted to just "see" what was in the bottom layers. The individual squares are quite roomy and can house big ornaments. I have a couple of very tall ornaments (5-6in) that were too tall to stand up or lay over and still fit the shelf on top. Probably could've put them on the top shelf directly under the lid but wanted the lid to lay flat. The lid folds over and zips closed. This is an awesome feature. Additionally there are two handles on the sides for carrying. I was hesitant to buy a fabric organizer as I wanted the sturdiness of a plastic container, but this seems to get the job done! I would feel comfortable stacking another of the same but wouldn't stack a heavy sterilite container or anything of that sort on top. Also, since the sections are so big, I doubled up many of the sections with smaller, nonbreakable ornaments. I'm very pleased with this and will probably by another one to organize additional ornaments I have.

Pleasantly Suprised!
I was surprised how well these were made. I previously purchased one from Target that was not so great and was expecting these to be about the same or worse but I was wrong. I bought the small in the stripes because it was featured that day at a super low price. $4.99. I liked how the lid had an extra bit of oomph and so did each layer. For the price I paid that day I got a great deal and am happy. Would I pay more ?Definitely not. Grab one if you can get it at a low price!

Not for me...
A few years back I purchased similar storage boxes at JoAnn Crafts. The dividers in those are cloth covered, which is nice. The dividers in this box are plain old cardboard. And certainly not acid free (if that's important to you). Bottom line, I don't trust putting my ornaments against the dividers for any length of time. Plus the dividers I received were dented, and not very well cut (cardboard pieces hanging on the edge). The bottom pieces that go between each layer have a fold in the center, so unless you're extremely careful pulling the layers out, you'll have a mess. As others have stated, the top isn't reinforced, it's just cloth, but that doesn't bother me. My others are the same, and I've stacked four boxes for years with no issues. If ornaments rest below the dividers, it's not a problem, if the boxes are of good quality to begin with, which I don't believe these are. Returning.

Decent - not the most protective
It’s a cloth material and card board is what holds it together. You wouldn’t be able to but storages boxes on top of it. But it does hold a ton of ornaments in a compact space and I like the design. Gets the job done

Very handy storage bin
This storage bin was just perfect for me. I had boxes of ornaments all over the place. When it came time to get the tree out I had to remember how many boxes I had stashed away. I was able to get all my ornaments in this one bin. The sides are sturdy enough for me. I would not store boxes on top of it however. I don't think it will protect the ornaments and not get crushed. I have used the handles, but did read some people had the handles break so I make sure I really pick it up and carry it around as a box and only use the handles to pull it closer to the edge of the shelf so I can grab it. I would recommend this storage bin.

Good for the price
This is a great ornament organizer and exactly what we were looking for. We are satisfied with it but a few things to note: - the dividers are cardboard - the zipper is flimsy - overall the bag is not very thick

Great buy
I bought this to store all my ornaments after Christmas. I'm late to the game and I'm just taking my tree down now... however I busted out this bad boy and found it extremely helpful! I love it. The zipper is slightly fragile, however I only need to use it a couple times a year so I figure it shouldn't be a bother! Definitely recommend.
