Cuts well

I'm redoing a bathroom, and need to make holes in cement board and in tile. This hole saw does the job well. Leaves a nice clean cut, and the grit is still on the hole blade. However, one thing I've noticed is the grit on the actual drill bit is completely gone now. This may shorten the life of the bit over time, but the hole saw still has good grit and cuts well. I could always drill a pilot with a masonry bit first, if the drill starts dulling on this. Good product, a little miffed at how quickly the grit came off the bit though....

Best hole saw for drilling thru Formica.

This was the perfect solution for a hole saw to use for Formica. I drilled part way thru from the backside first and then completed it on the Formica top side. Very smooth cut.

Works as described

Needed to drill a big hole through a desktop for cords. This worked perfectly for the job and looks like it could be used again.

Installing Grommets

Used this to drill a hole through a laminate countertop in order to install a 2" grommet and it worked perfectly!

It did the job perfectly for what we needed

It's a wide hole drill bit designed to cut into harder surfaces, such as tiles, stone, etc., and bore into laminate countertop surfaces with minimal damage (just be sure to tape both sides of the laminate fully where the hole(s) will be drilled.

This worked great for drilling holes at the office to run computer cables. It creates a ton of dust but if have someone hold the shop-vac next to it while you drill, problem solved. Makes nice smooth holes through particle board with little or no tear out.
