Prefer Over Gillette
I've been a Gillette user for 30+ years, and 4 months ago I thought I'd give Dollar Shave Club a try. I trim around a full beard (above and below), so have to be precise. After getting used to the DSC, I find the spring action (ability to navigate over angled surfaces) to be so good that it's nearly impossible to get a nick (not the case with Gillette). I like the feel of the handle better also, and the blades last a long while. Overall A++. I 'm sticking with DSC from now on.

Not bad but not the best
Quality razors and blades. My razor blade lasts weeks with no rusting as long as I keep it away from the water after using. I’ve tried Harry’s and these are better. But overall a nice product.

I started when Dollar started. Loved their razors and price. Then cancelled because razors started collecting hair stubble. Tried many others. Decided to ordered these and wow! 6 Star best razor ever. Clean shave. I am Black and does an excellent job. Handles face curves. Rinses better than any razor ever had. They should call me for commercials:)

23 years of head shaving.
I’ve tried everything, including ordering DSC blades straight from the manufacturer (Dorco) about a half dozen years ago. My checklist involves “blades that doesn’t cut me and don’t clog up from doing a face and head.” Longevity isn’t a problem if the blades are cheap. Gillette were too expensive and they clog up. All other brands were garbage. Harry’s checked all the boxes and had that reassuring cutting sound that let me know it was slicing my hair. Then I ordered some DSC blades by accident. Then I needed to order the handle. I tried them and the experience was strange. They don’t make a reassuring slicing sound. They don’t scratch on the surface of my skin (which I actually like). They instead make a rolling sensation like a rollerball pen on a piece of paper. At first, this confused me. I wasn’t sure if I left a cover on the blade or something- but sure enough, the blades were doing a good job. And they felt smooth while doing it. I would put the cutting results similar to Harry’s, but the cutting sensation is completely different. I like it.

Average, not impressed
I've used dollar shaver club for years. This blade is not one of their best. Pros: it does NOT give a super close, aggressive shave but it's closer enough that I look and feel "clean shaven." Because it isn't as aggressive as most razors, I get no razor burn. Cons: the razor head has very little tension and it's hard to get in the creases and right spots since the razor is hard to control. It also had no "trimming blade" that is great for getting up close to the nose and around the mouth. I literally use an old razor that has a trimming blade on it just for the training part. Conclusion: it's a good blade for sensitive skin and to prevent razor burn. Not the greatest for tight spots or hair that like to lay flat and is hard to cut.

Not as clean of a shave as expecting it to be
The price is good; however for use on legs it does not give as clean/smooth of a shave as others I have used.
