Great brace but you might want one to protect your other leg.

About a year ago I subluxated my patella and with this my meniscus partially tore. I got this brace because after beginning to run again about 5 months ago, 4 months in my knee shifted out of place again and I believe it was another but not so severe subluxation. This brace has allowed me to feel more confident while running and to partially forget about re-subluxing my kneecap. It gives great support and its comfortable. The only bad thing about this brace is the fact that it has a seam going right down the back, so it can tend to get a little itchy after working out in it. The velcro also tends to rub on the inside of my other knee so I wear a simple spandex sleeve on my other knee for added comfort. I would recommend wearing this sleeve on the other leg if you run with your knees tending to fall inward like mine because the velcro on the brace has even rubbed many of the seams on my running leggings and has made them fuzzy and caused the threads to loosen. Otherwise this brace is great and I'd order another one if something were to happen to the first.

This is the brace my physical therapist recommended- my knee cap likes to wiggle out of place. It holds my knee cap in place fairly well. It's a little difficult to get on (since my right leg has swollen enough to put me at the end of the range for this size). It is kind of bulky, but worth it for the relief if you're in pain. I do have some issues with my left brace, but I think that it may just be my leg, since my pt had me try on one of their (same) braces and I had the same pinching on the back of my left leg.
