I originally got this to bring on a vacation. I got it for $4.85. I like that it lights up the color-coding. This thermometer is a lot larger than a standard one. The case is even larger. I didn't realize that when I ordered it. I have had this for about 1 month and it already says low battery. The other one in this picture I have had for about 3 years and have never had an issue with the battery. It also takes a little longer to take your temperature. I would estimate about 30 seconds, not 8 as it is advertised on the package.

Works great - good price!

Works perfectly. We bought one at a discount store and were never satisfied - it failed in a couple of different ways. This one works great! And it is priced reasonably!

Trust issues

We took the temperature a few times to be sure and it was different each time - close, but not the same. I do not trust it's readings. The battery also showed low a few days after we opened it.

Great thermometer. It will read Lo when you turn it on. Very fast for a rectal temp on a moving infant. Love that the screens turns red for fever. Good price.

this came with a dead battery!

I have no idea how this product works, because the battery was dead when I went to use it! : (

It is not quick read for rectal.

When you turn it on, the low battery icon shows which is very deceiving. When used rectally, which I thought was supposed to be the most accurate, it takes forever to read and 90% of the time it times out and just turns off. I'll be getting a different thermometer as I'm 100% not satisfied. Very disappointing.

Item came with lo battery ,brought new pack of batteries and still low battery sign comes on,utter rubbish my old one I paid £2 for lasted years,will not be buying again if I could give it zero stars I would, best place for it is in the bin

Ho iniziato la procedura di reso perchè l'articolo è sicuramente difettoso, ad ogni misurazione fornisce una temperatura molto diversa da quella effettiva, verificata sia con un termometro tradizionale che con un altro termometro digitale. La lettura è effettivamente velocissima però non corrispondente alla realtà.
