De gleuf is afgeschuind zodat bij gebruik van de matrijzen in een machinehouder de stelschroef kan worden verwijderd en afgesteld met de stelschroeven in de houder. Aanpassing wordt verkregen door een schroef met fijne spoed die de zijkanten van de matrijs uit elkaar duwt of samen laat veren. De ene kant heeft een afschuining van 2 tot 3 draden om in te rijgen, de andere kant heeft een afschuining van 1 tot 1-1/2 draad om dicht bij een schouder in te rijgen. Ronde matrijzen zijn aan beide zijden afgeschuind. Koolstofstalen ronde verstelbare matrijs is gewenst voor een langere levensduur.

It came in nice multi use. Case. Easy for storage an reusable

It worked and had adjusting screw

Used it to clean up a severely roughed up tie rod end bolt. With adjusting screw, I was able to work the die back and forth gradually cleaning up the threads. Saved me for replacing the tie rod. And yes, it was all my fault.

Fantastic product great price well made. Used it to clean the bolts on my Ram truck to install running boards. Made it much easier then using wire brush to take the paint off. Cleaned up well. ????

Did the job

I used this to make 304 stainless steel studs. Cut multiple threads fine without issue, no signs of fatigue on the die yet. Mine had the adjustment screw.

Does NOT have adjusting screw.

Overall it worked for what i needed it to do, but it might as well be labeled one time use or disposable. It does NOT have a adjusting screw to space out the cutting surfaces like the description says it does. If it did it would probably last a lot longer as you could cut into the material gradually.
