De Classic Sunflower of Mixed Seed Feeder met Ring Pull Advantage is een klassieke tube feeder ontworpen voor eenvoudige reiniging. DY Ring Pull well made product
Easy to clean is a top priority for me in bird feeders - easy assembly/disassembly and most importantly, all the surfaces can be cleaned. Yes, this is a small tube feeder. I prefer small feeders because I like visiting my feeders a few times a day and filling more often works for me over the food lasting several days or weeks in the feeder. I did add 1/4 inch pex tubing on 2 of the 6 perches as noted by another reviewer. One is 3" and the other is 4" long. The finch and chickadee took to this feeder within minutes and use all the perches but actually stay for a while at times on the 4" long pex-perch. I roughened up the pex with scratches. I added the pex in hopes of Cardinals using the feeder but so far, the Cardinals are still using the nearby platform feeder. I did not buy the accessory tray per the reviews on the tray missing a part and because the purpose of this feeder is to make sure the little birds have some food after the bigger birds leave the area. I don't care about messes on the ground - the pleasure of watching the birds is more important than a tidy yard that looks like no one uses it. I filled this feeder with sunflower hearts, chopped peanuts and safflower. The seed appears to be staying dry even though it is raining. At this point, I do not think a Weatherguard is necessary with this feeder.

Very good quality. Birds love it if there’s food in it but so far no squirrel has gotten food from it.

I love this bird feeder, but it is NOT squirrel proof, as advertised. Other than that, its built solidly, great design, easy to use, and to clean. The birds LOVE it, but we've been having a squirrel come by for snacks too. He reaches right in, grabs seed, and eats it.

Excellent for Smaller Birds, Easy to Maintain
Pros - Easy to clean. Pull the top tab and the bird feeder falls apart in the sink. No inaccessible crevices or corners. - Easy to put together after cleaning (less than a minute). Put the two bird feeder perches together and slide the pole through. Let go and move to the next perch. - Weather resistant. I used an S-hook (not included with the feeder) and attached the feeder to the tree for easy removal. The feeder has survived multiple heavy windy rainstorms. The seed stayed dry and the feeder never fell. You do not need a rain protector shield. - Has bird seed catcher as an available accessory for purchase. My birds prefer eating off the seed tray. So much so that I'm going to have to remove it because they clean this feeder out too fast! - Pleasant to look at. Simple, sleek, clear-focused design is easy on the eye. The skinniness lets you see birds peeking out as they eat on the other side. The clear tube let's you see birds as the seed level drops. The quality was much better than anything I saw at Home Depot or Lowe's. - Everything you need is included. Some reviews mention needing to purchase a thread plug for the bottom of the feeder. You do not need to buy this. The feeder is designed to hang with the hole left open. Cons - Perches are on the short side. The birds (even small ones) prefer to sit in the seed tray or in my other ringed feeder. However, they can and will use the perches when the seed tray is occupied. - Fewer feeding areas. As the seed drops, the number of feeding areas decreases. A design with feed holes at the bottom would be more effective. - No ring attachment. I emailed the company and, as of this review, they have not made an attachment. A ring attachment would have given picky birds a roomy area to sit. A ring would have been better than a seed catcher for birds to sit on because the seed catcher gets dirty fast. It 'catches' bird poop and therefore makes for slower cleaning between refills. The birds also kick the used seeds out of the seed catcher so it will not keep the area below the feeder clean of seed. - Small size means daily refills in my heavy bird-filled area. I switched to a much bigger feeder, but they cleaned that one out daily too. So I'm returning to this feeder and removing the seed tray. Summary This is one of the best designed feeders for small birds. Protects against weather and allows you to see the birds easily. If you have picky or larger birds, I recommend buying the seed tray attachment for them to sit in. If you want to hang the feeder, I recommend buying an S hook for easy feeder removal from a tree (not needed if you have a bird feeder pole for hanging feeders or plants).

Great birdfeeder!
I really like this birdfeeder and I got the dish that goes below it my thought was that the squirrels wouldn’t get on it but they did. They just were so funny as they climb down on it from a dome cover and they were just slide off the dome cover and then hook the little feet on the edge of the bottom dish and grabbed the food. so I had to give it to a friend .

Squirrel ????️ proof!!? Damn near bear ???? proof. It took a bear twice to actually defeat this feeder into submission. Received a replacement tube from the company. (Thanks, they didn't have too) All hardware just fit into new tube. Voila!!, got these pics last week. Should have bought the long one. Nice feeders, very solid.

Robust feeder worth every penny
I owned this feeder for 15+ years. It worked great until a raccoon knocked it down and broke it. I was ecstatic to find the exact same feeder for sale! This one seems very similar, except easier to clean, which is nice. This feeder is very robust and worth every cent.

Good value, solidly built bird feeder
A bit smaller than expected, but solidly built. Not squirrel proof, though most feeders aren't really secure against them, even those that make the claim. Good value.
